Hello Lots of Food Kickstarter backers,

It's been a rewarding season- our roots in particular are beautiful- here's a photo for you! All the produce we're harvesting is being sold through the Urban Growers Co-op, organized by Louisville Grows. They're focusing on distributing as much as they can to high-need markets in West Louisville, so some of our produce is staying very close to home! So far we've sold carrots,  beets, potatoes, and swiss chard - this fall, sweet potatoes, and maybe leeks and beans.

Our rainwater catchment and irrigation has been working well, and we've had some fun weeding parties with our friends & neighbors. Thank you!

We're hosting a workshop this Sunday August 31, Growing Your own Herbs for Tea.
The workshop and tea-tasting is from 4-6pm at Lots of Food, 1645 Portland Ave. Details & registration here:
