Lots of Food 2015 workshops : Growing Teas and Fall Foraging

Hello Kickstarter backers,

I have been busy this summer and my efforts are bearing fruit- I've got a few nuts on the almonds and hazelnut trees which I am very excited about! I've also grown and sold a variety of things this year--onions, potatoes, blackberries, radishes, turnips, beets, carrots- and there is still more coming in the fall.

I have two workshops coming up: on Sunday August 30 from 4-6pm  I will show & tell about growing your own herbs for tea (and other beverages) and we'll taste a variety of delicious teas;

and on Sunday October 11 from 4-6 I'll do a workshop on Fall Foraging- featuring Kentucky's fruits & nuts of the season and more.

All workshops are on a sliding scale from $10-$25. Details and registration are at http://www.louisvillelotsoffood.com/workshops.html

I am filled with gratitude to all of you who have made this project possible - thank you for supporting it. Some of you know that the business partner with whom I started Lots of Food has had to resign from the project, but I am committed to fulfilling the horticultural and educational goals.
