A woman leaves the farm and enters the unknown. The Oregonian is a deeply strange trip, it's important to us that you see this movie.

Hey everybody

We made a strange little film last year called THE OREGONIAN. It premiered at Sundance 2011 in the Midnight section and has played in several other festivals around the world.  Our next step is to get the film out there so fans and anyone interested can catch it for themselves.

A rad new company called Cinemad Presents has taken the film on for a US theatrical release. Through them we will be looking to cram our little movie into every arthouse and micro-cinema theater countrywide. Of course, this is a very strange and challenging film and not every theater owner will jump at the opportunity to book it. So, for those adventurous folks who don't live anywhere near a theater cool enough to play it, we will be releasing it digitally (on the Internet) through this brand spanking new Sundance Institute initiative that specializes in bringing films like this one to the major outlets.

Sounds pretty cool to us, but you might be asking asking yourself why the heck do they need money? The answer: TO CREATE AWARENESS. With the money we raise here we will be hiring a publicist, printing posters and hopefully running a few ads in local weeklies. These things will get the word out and we need that. The Clinton Street theater in Portland is an amazing venue but it's way cooler when people are actually there. So, in an attempt to fill some seats and make people aware of its very existence, we need some help!
