Do You Remember . . . . . . . . .
The time was 1980 and video games were entering their prime. Atari 2600 was the early leader but soon it would have a new, worthy opponent, the Intellivision. Intellivision debuted nationally in 1980 and introduced gamers to a new brand of addicting, fun and challenging games. The intellivision sold over 3 million units over a period of ten years and had a robust game catalog of more than 120 games.
Now, Retroaction Entertainment, Inc. is working closely with the President of Intellivision Productions, Inc., Mr. Keith Robinson and Dave Warhol, former original Intellivision game designer and owner of development studio, Realtime Associates, Inc. to take these iconic and beloved video game classics and update them for a new generation of gamers.
We are beginning with three of Intellivision's most iconic and beloved classics -- ASTROSMASH, SHARK! SHARK! and NIGHT STALKER.
Astrosmash was Intellivision's answer to the popular arcade game, Asteroids and pitted the player's laser cannon against a never-ending barrage of asteroids falling from the sky towards Earth. Astrosmash's arcade style gameplay and revolutionary scoring (point loss for missed Asteroids hitting the ground) was addicting and players all around strove to better their hi-scores and get farther into the game.
Astrosmash Gen2 keeps the same addicting gameplay as the classic but is updated with new retro sprite style graphics and a variety of power-ups and familiar sound effects. Can you spot all the other classic gaming influences in this gameplay video?
SHARK! SHARK! GEN2
In Shark! Shark! Gen2 you are in control of a small fish that you dart and swim back and forth. Your goal to eat other fish that are smaller than you while trying to avoid becoming lunch for fish larger than you. And steer clear of the elusive SHARK! As you consume smaller fish you grow in size and are able to eat larger and larger fish. Just make sure they are smaller than you or GULP, you're fish food.
Shark! Shark! Gen2 remains true to the original you remember, while getting a graphical face-lift and adding a whole new cast of underwater competition and gameplay mechanics and bonus screens. Can you outgrow and outlast the school to become the last fish swimming?
NIGHT STALKER GEN2
Night Stalker is an arcade style maze game where the player controls a lone man lost in a maze, pursued by a variety of maniacal robots. Locate the gun which randomly appears in the maze and try to shoot your way out to another more challenging maze. And, don't forget to avoid running into the bats and spiders which will temporarily paralyze you.
Night Stalker Gen2 is the same game you loved growing up but updated with new and improved graphics, more mazes, a larger cast of insane robots and enemies, power-ups to discover and more. Run and shoot your way to survival and a new Hi-Score!

Use of Funds
We have had some questions regarding use of funds. Here is a breakout detailing where the money will be going.
Risks and challenges
Developing video games is challenging even if you're going the tried-and-true method and developing an update or sequel to a popular game with a proven game mechanic. Time and financial constraints often provide unexpected challenges. Consequently, we try to not make any crazy promises.
While we have chosen not to pursue financial backing other than crowdfunding, a choice which enables us to retain full control of the games, we have carefully identified the amount of money needed to deliver the games with a minimal team -- a team comprised of individuals with many years of success working on projects like this and bringing video games to market.
Also, unlike many other crowdfunded video games, where backers often must wait a year or more for the games to deliver, we’ve already made significant progress with development. This means backers won't have to wait long for us to deliver for your enjoyment once funding is concluded.
We’re very confident we can deliver games that live up to fan expectations, on time and on budget.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
