Art and Cover Update
We've reached the $4000 reward unlock. So this update with not only include an art update, but a cover update.
I still have three other covers in various phases of production and will be printed based upon the funding available.
If we reach $6000, I'll print a third cover to the book and everyone at the $50 pledge level and above will receive a copy of all three covers as part of their package. Retailers will receive extra copies of the second and third cover that will depend on their pledge level.
If we reach $8000, I'll print the comic in perfect bound format with a thicker cover stock similar to paperback books a fourth cover to the book and everyone at the $50 pledge level and above will receive a copy of all four covers as part of their package. Retailers will receive extra copies of the second, third and fourth cover that will depend on their pledge level.
Our art update comes courtesy of Brian Miller (writer), Fabcob (artist) and HdE (letterer), the creative team behind the story for Planet of Sound. Brian Miller also created the original cover for Break the Walls. Brian and his company, Hi-Fi Design, color some of the most popular comic books by DC, Marvel, IDW and others. He is best known for his cover collaborations with Ethan Van Sciver and Joe Correney.
Two of the most talented artists I know have collaborated on our first variant cover for Break the Walls. Ryan Cody created the layout and colored the cover. Scott Godlewski inked and provided finishes. Ryan has most recently worked on Red 5 Comics Atomic Robo Anthology, Eisner Award winning anthology Popgun vol. 3 and his creator owned comic Icarus. Scott has worked on Codebreakers and Dracula: The Company of Monsters for Boom! Studios and his own anthology comic book Mysterious Adventures Magazine.
