ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY:
"Minnesota Nice?" focuses on telling real life stories of students from across Minnesota who have been discriminated against and bullied in school. It addresses how Minnesota has seen a rising number of student suicides related to bullying in the last 2 years, with 9 suicides taking place in just one county. Students share how bullying has affected them, some even to the point of considering suicide.
WHY MAKE THIS FILM?
I was severely bullied in Middle School, and saw many of my friends go through tragic incidents related to harassment and bullying in school. Some even tried committing suicide, and without me there supporting me would have ended their life. I wanted to capture stories from students across the State and put them into a film in order to document the problem Minnesota is having with bullying.
REASONS FOR BEING BULLIED:

HOW THE MONEY WILL BE USED:
The money raised will be used to cover rental equipment (cameras, lighting equipment, etc), transportation costs, and post production costs. We are trying to reach a goal of $1,000 to be able to cover all of these and make the film the best it can be.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE FALL SHORT:
If the goal is not reached then I don't get to use any of the money raised to help create my film. It's all or nothing.
