About

Our Story

Hi, my name is Nathaniel Grauwelman and I'm the writer/creator and co-star of the fantasy comedy webseries, 'Which Die Is That Again?' The concept originated a year ago when my two friends, Justin and Amelia kept telling me how much fun it was to play Dungeons and Dragons. I decided if they both loved it I'd give it a try. I created my character, a suave, debonair (two things I wish I was) Bard named Warren and entered the fantasy land. I was all ready to climb a maiden's tower or gain an audience with the King when go when the first place we went was... a dungeon. I was useless. In my frustration and simply having no idea what I was doing, I began asking questions. How did that giant spider get into this tiny room? What were the orcs doing before we showed up? How can my sword be deflected off the monster's no-existant armor? These questions would eventually spawn the first concepts that would become our dungeon episode.

The Impact

I've been referred to as "JJ Abrams" for my story arcs. As he had the story for LOST planned out through season 5, I have the same for this series. Five seasons worth of gradual arcs and seasonal arcs, as well as the shorter episode arcs. There is more character development than most of the high budget films I see being producing these days and this would be at a fraction of the cost. Through the internet, we can reach people everywhere, gamers and no-gamers alike and give them a compelling story with characters that people can relate to in situations that may be in a foreign setting but still relatable. With Amelia and Justin and other select creative individuals, we've created a team, a group that is extremely professional, dedicated and invested in the project, the characters and story as I am. These characters are real, Doug, Sarah, Brian, Jessica, they are all living breathing, flawed but beautiful individuals who grow and change, always trying to better themselves. They just need a chance to become fully realized in the physical world. And we can't do that without your help.

What We Need & What You Get

We'd like to aim for $2000. Whether we reach our goal or not, the money graciously received will go to the production of the series. Currently, everything is being funded by us and we have what we could get on our own, a website, a less than professional camera, but with funding, we hope to gain equipment to raise the quality of the show as a whole. Those that contribute would be given a special thank you. For example, depending on the level of funding, a meet and greet with the cast, a chance to play a game of your choice with the friends, a signed copy of Season 1 DVD or even Executive Producer credit.

Other Ways You Can Help

Visit us at our website at www.whichdie.com and be sure to become a fan on Facebook -> http://www.facebook.com/pages/Which-Die-Is-That.... We're already on the convention circuit but the more people that know about the show the better. And if you're in the area of one of our cons come on out and say hi!
