What is Coliseum of the Gods?
The Gods have gathered to determine who among them is the greatest on Mount Olympus. They have chosen champions who must duel to the death in order to determine their patron’s greatness. It is within The Coliseum that the battle is waged and inside there is one simple goal: survive.
Coliseum of the Gods is a standalone card game suitable for two-to-eight players, aged 12 years and up. The game thrusts you into the arena as a powerful champion ready to do battle and destroy any opponents that stand in your way. A single game is designed to have variable lengths, ranging from ten minutes or up to an hour. It’s a competitive blast that’s perfect for play in between tournament rounds!
Basic Gameplay
In addition to the normal rules for each card type, every card has a value. Once per turn, you're able to attack by discarding any card in your hand. The defending player then discards any numbers of cards. If the value of your attack is higher than the combined value of the defense, the defending player loses a portion of their health.

The Four Card TypesCoTG involves four types of cards.
WEAPON: Weapon cards, which are identified by the red border, are cards that represent the arms and armor you find while inside the Arena. These are the only cards that stay in play and offer continuous effects. Many of the Weapon cards have symbols which offer a continuous bonus to your attack or defense!
GIFT: Gift cards, which are identified by the green border, are cards that give you much needed aid. Often they can heal or protect you from other card effects. Many of these cards can directly counter certain Coliseum cards, which can sometimes save you from certain death!
TACTIC: Tactic Cards, which are identified by the blue border, are cards that either disrupt your opponent's plans or protect you from harm. Many of these cards can be played on an opponent's turn. This allows you to set the perfect trap for your foes.
COLISEUM: Coliseum cards, which are identified by the gray border, are some of the most destructive and powerful cards in the game. These are made to represent the power and chaos of the gods themselves! While being incredibly dangerous, you are always shielded from a Coliseum card you play. These cards never effect whoever played them.

And what of the spoils?
It takes quite a bit to make a card game! We’ve decided to manufacture and produce locally in Orlando, Florida. The cost for our initial run will be around $2,100. In addition, we want to be able to offer you guys shirts, art, additional rules and more great games. If we meet our goal, all of this is possible!
Rewards!
Our supporters will be able to claim some excellent rewards including a PDF of the game, pre-order copies of the First Edition for personal or store use, original beta test cards, the chance to appear as a god or goddess, preview copies of our next game, and the chance for us to design a game just for you!
International backers may need to pay additional fees on any rewards that require shipping & handling. If you will require international shipping on any rewards, please contact us prior to backing so we can figure out the most cost effective solution for you!
Who Are We?
Secret Tunnel Games is a small group of gamers who decided it was time to make their own games. We’ve banded together to make destroying your foes and seeing them driven before you as enjoyable as possible.
What If We Go Over Our Goal?
If we beat our goal, we’ll be able to put that directly into the game. Higher quality cards, better deck boxes, high quality art! All of these are potentially available if we are able to raise past our goal.
