We're making a record, and we need YOUR help! 30 days to raise $11,000. If we are $1 short, we don't get ANY of the money and the record simply will not happen.
We have been pouring over these songs for the past two years now (in some cases longer) to make every chord, note, and lyric both meaningful and honest. Now that they need to be recorded, we've teamed up with people who love what they do and do it with excellence. We've got a producer and musical engineers that do amazing work, crafting the sounds of artists like Tyler Lyle, Micah Dalton, Jon Black, etc. Their time and talent is valuable. Their equipment is valuable. So to give our record a shot at being the most it possibly can be, we need your money.
But don't call it a charity. Not at all. The more you give, the more you get back. These rewards to the right hand side of the screen are straight from our heart to your hands. Everything from posters to songs that no one else will get to hear. Now, if you give $1,000 or something like that, you not only get the reward for spending $1000, but you also get every reward that came before that (with the exception of the date reward and $750 reward). So in the immortal words of Tom Hatherford, “Treat yo self!” and SPREAD THE WORD. And then enjoy all the cool stuff you get back. Every single penny is going to the recording, mixing, and mastering of this record. But we're not gonna stop there.
We want this to be a record that is born out of collaboration. We worked with each other to write the songs and we want to work with you now to make it a reality. But we're also collaborating with the producer and engineers to craft the perfect sounds, AND WE WANT TO COLLABORATE WITH VISUAL ARTISTS to take this project beyond music. We've been sharing these songs with painters, ceramicists, sculptors, writers, and poets because we want people to create more art from these songs. We hope that by the time the record is finished, we'll not only have an album, but we'll be able to have an on-line gallery of amazing art created over the next few months. The art can enhance the themes of the record or extend a character or even disagree with what we say in the song. We just want this thing to generate more creativity and more art. If you are an artist interested in donating to the project in that way, shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are so grateful for your interest, support, and love. You mean the world to us.
