Thanks, Tomas! Yes, it would be cheaper to plant directly in the ground, but we are doing square-foot gardening in raised beds. Raised beds have huge benefits from richer soil, more produce in smaller areas, and many others. We priced out many different options for raised beds, and found cinderblocks to be the cheapest and easiest option out there.
Hi Jarrod, You should start thinking about something to get this funded in time...
Make publicity, new rewards.. I don't know. Updates usually make people fill more engaged with the projects and help them get funded.
Btw, why are you using blocks to make the garden? wouldn't it be cheaper to plant directly in the ground?
