What if you could give life to the traditional woodblocks?
PLICO is 9 woodblocks, and infinite possibilities to create routes for marbles. For kids from 7 to 777, this game provides a new dimension to the classic woodblocks game: movement!
PLICO can be played anywhere and with anything: on the edge of a table, using books, objects or stairs to add levels to the game.
Challenge yourself, share fun moments and boost your brain power!
PLICO is a true game, where players experiment through trial and error to achieve success. It is a construction game, both physical and psychological, which reveals the creativity within every player, young and old.
This educative game is an entertaining introduction to the basic laws of physics, it champions focus, precision, motor skills. It is about imagining, trying, understanding, learning, and having fun!
Create a community, launch production.
Our first goal is to create a community. This game must be tackled by pioneers and curious minds who will be able to share their ideas and discoveries and expand the possibilities of PLICO.
I want to make PLICO available to an audience as large as possible, this is why I’m raising 1 000€ via Quickstarter - just enough to start production.
All the images in this campaign feature prototypes, a successful crowdfunding would allow us to launch a semi-industrial, or even better, a full-scale industrial production. sky is the limit!
From 1000 to 3000 euros, the pieces will be produced by myself in a Fablab based in France.
From 3000 to 9000 euros, the pieces will be produced by a company with high production facilities either based in France or in Portugal.
More than 9000 euros, we can imagine two solutions: reach out to an industrial production company or build our own production workshop.
Manufacturing and tolerance
The game is manufactured with precision in Europe. Each block is made out of beech wood for solidity and stability. PLICO will come with Ø14mm marbles for optimal playability. For a more challenging experience, you can also use Ø16mm marbles which will also fit the grooves.
The colored pieces are made with a hand-dipping technique in see-through inks. We are currently testing options for more durable inks, which might be of different colors, but will still be harmoniously matched together.

Risks and challenges
I am a product designer based in Paris, France. During my career i have designed many projects and products which I have developed from start to finish. This is my first Kickstarter but thanks to Oscar Lhermitte, the initiator of Quickstarter campaign, I’m ready.
All the costs have been carefully evaluated, and I have set the shipping date as realistically as possible. Everything will be done to make sure we meet the planned deadline and I will let you know if any hiccups occur along the way. Fortunately, there shouldn’t be a lot to worry about since PLICO is based on basic shapes and materials!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
