About this project
My name is Ethan Parrilla and I am the founder of Atrocious Works.
To me, Atrocious Works is more than a clothing brand. It’s a lifestyle and more importantly a community.
I developed this line back in 08’ and have been designing since High School. Over the years, I’ve developed a passion for originality, and i’ve focused my designs towards turning heads and opening eyes with a new style.
I started producing Atrocious Works in early 2010 and ever since I have been selling my shirts in Los Angeles, CA and Citrus Heights, CA. It’s always been important to me to be my own boss, and in the past year I’ve seen my business grow before my eyes. Atrocious Works has gone from just printing one-color shirts to more complex designs and accessories. I’ve opened a product website with Big Cartel and put together a social media and management team since then.
Demand is increasing for new Atrocious Works products, and now it is time to take the next step.
This is where you come in Kickstarter,
I want Atrocious Works to be much more than just a t-shirt company; I want to design everything from the finest quality shirts and hoodies to caps and custom posters.
The funds will be used to...
* Create And Expand Our Inventory
* Create Our Offical Website
* Offer Better Service & Support To Our Customers
* Endorse And Sponsor Artist
* Create Future Atrocious Works
Once I have the product, I’ll be going on a promotional tour to show people what we are all about. With your help I want to spread the message that if you work hard and follow your dreams, you can do whatever you set your mind to.
Yearn within nightmares, Acquire in reality.
(DESIGNERS APART OF THIS PROJECT ARE ALEXANDER EASTMAN of CONSUME THE FLESH MEDIA, MANSON STARKEY of M.STARKEY, MICAH SOUZA, DARYN BALDWIN of GLORIOUS GORIFICATION, GARRET COTTINGHAM and EUGEN CAZACU)
Risks and challenges
Risk 1. The actual product of the shirts could be printed wrong.
Risk 2. The company I plan on going to could have problems with their equipment, which would cause me to go to a different company and a minor set back to the product.
Risk 3. Website could be incomplete which would mean the bigcartel site would still be in use for purchasing.
Risk 4. Product could come in later then shipping dates.
Risk 5. Tours falling through for promotion.
Risk 6. Designs may change with colors and styles ect.
Challenge 1. Getting all of the shipping sent out completely right the first time
Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Challenge 2. Promotion of this project and the company Atrocious Works itself.
