Have a question?
Thank you! Now we are ready to start!
Congratulations on funding. can’t wait to read and play!
print and play tier would be awesome .
Thees Haren, Yes, thanks, now manager pledge is possible. You can get 5 games for 80$ and single shipping or form your own custom order.
Andrey Sanin, yes, we have paper money for this version.
Hi there :)! I'm not sure, if this was answered before, but will there be a pledge manager later on? I'm member of a german gaming community and there might be some people to join in. So perhaps it's possible to add several copies of the game to one pledge in order to save some shipping costs?
It would be awesome to have a print and play tier.
"Play money 150 units"
Guess it's time to pull up another order of metal coins
Happy New Year to everyone! All the best and warm wishes for this year!
Hi Ryan Mrochuk!
We are sorry for not having a full prototype of the final version of the game. But here are the requirements we are sending to the manufacturer:
1) Playfield 80x60 sm, four-color process offset 4+0, tight cardboard 1-2 mm thick, creasing A4
2) Isosceles hexagons. Side size – 2.25 sm, diameter of a circle – 4.5 sm
tight cardboard 2-4 mm thick, four-color process offset 4+0
3) Play money 150 units. Color offset printing: 4+4 offset, paper density- 80 g., size – 3.5x8.5 sm,
4) Round counters – binder board (kappa), 1-1.5 mm thick, print 4+0, diameter 25 mm.
5) Cardboard box, A4 format, tight carton 1-2 mm thick, color offset printing: 4+0
And the picture of plastic basements can be found in the updates.
Hi there. I am intrigued by this game, but as mentioned below the quality looks underwhelming. I saw that it was said the games in the videos are prototype quality, and that's great. I would like to see what the plans are for upgrading the quality of the components will be before I back at a higher level though. Can you speak to, or more preferably, show us what kind of quality we can expect from the finished product?
Really looking forward to this ^_^
Daniel Cassidy, sorry for late reply. Yes, we are going to translate book II into English, if we got 20000. If not, we will do it later and include the book in one of the next campaigns.
Just curious is there any stretch goals planned.
It's certainly a novel way to create a game world and setting
Thanks to all of you! We are very glad that you like it.
Thank you for that update I'm more siked to back it knowing it's history!
I’m looking forward to this. I do feel it needs more attention though.
Tumble weeds, hello is there anybody out there or are the debates about the game happening on an other forum somewhere else. And I would have liked a we have reached our funding goal update.
Yeah it was when that trilogy of books was been made into movies nightwatch, daywatch and twilight watch. By the way comments are a good way to make a ks look more active so even inane comments are actually good but related comments are better. You should probably post designer diary updates and racial backgrounds.
That's not very easy:)
We will translate the book anyway and present it in our further campaigns.
So, you can learn Russian or just wait a little bit)
Years ago I had a plan to learn Russian but haven't done it yet
Book II is now only in Russian. We have it as our stretch goal - if we get more then 20000, we do the translation. In that case you can add 5$ and wright a comment for us.
If you are ok with the russian language, you can pledge extra 5 now, we will put both books for you.
Next question, I have a pledge with book one how much do I add to my pledge to get book two aswell
Daniel Cassidy, thank you for your comment and for the advice! It seems to be useful, we will think about it.
As for the camp, we got lots of followers from Russia who are already familiar with our products, especially with the camp program. Here is the website to know more about it http://shtormgrad.ru/
OK so this looks interesting, but the lack of any comments for 9 days is very weird to say the least, there is scant details about this 14 day camp, what is covered for $700. As for the coloured bases it may be an idea to put a 15 mm diameter hole in them. This saves plastic, weight and allows the token to easily be pushed out, to swap colours.
Andrey Sanin, yes! Sorry for the delay. The rules will be in about 2 days, and we will post them in update.
So I see some rules are posted for one version: http://elinor.games/rules/Rules1.pdf
Are there rules for the second variant (HoMM/Civ-like) that we can see?
Thanks @Mikhail! Those plastic basements look great!
Ah, book in Russian is not a problem for me ;)
Only worried about the fact that I'd never get the game to the table if it is in Russian...so I will hold out for Russian books and English game.
+1 for Rulebook, a little interested in both variants
Also would be interesting to see upgraded cardboard for the tiles (as a SG, maybe?) more than what is shown in the videos.
This looks and sounds really interesting, but I too would like to see some play-throughs and the manual before making a full pledge. Nice work so far though!
Iwan Lemmens, Yeah, seems we can do this if more than 20000 will come.
My girlfriend prefers reading a book over board games, now we can do our favorite hobbies in the same world.
Now if only these units were on poker chips, that would be amazing.
Couldn't you add the translation of the second book as a stretch goal?
Alpha Cyberus, Thank you so much for your comment!
We will attach the rules in a few days. And yes, shipping to most countries is tracked and insured.
As for the books - we mentioned that the 2d book “The Ghosts of the North” is now only in Russian language. We will translate it later, and it would be available during our next campaign or on our website. If Russian language is ok, you can just wright a comment about a second book and pledge extra 5$.
Grzegorz Krausiewicz, On our video you can see demo-versions of the game. We printed just a few games to test them among big audience. We also made a few upgrades in the rules after. The final version that we ship to our backers is of a better quality. The rules will be attached in a few days.
This game looks interesting, I'm looking forward to it! Great job Mikhail :) I don't understand much on how it's played, but I can see the Civ/ HoMM inspiration and it looks like it will be lots of fun!
+1 that it would be great to see rulebooks or EN videos with more detail on how it's played.
+1 as well for getting both books as add-ons.
Also hoping with Andrey that the shipping will be for tracked/ insured, I've had a few games arrive in bad condition recently :(
Grzegorz Krausiewicz, Sorry, we've just seen your comment, and now its a bit late here. Please give us some time to think about it :)
Andrey Sanin, Yes! We can organize it.
p.s. I can understand what Andrey means, but yeah, same price as for the game is just...
@ Mikhail Shelkov - got interested in the game based on graphics. I think that one is very cool and great.
It is mentioned that game is finished 100% so where we can find rulebook?
Some video playthrough/preview (in EN) would be great to understand what is it really about. I watched both movies on campaign page but still not clear how to play.
Another point for color basements... well... I may be not a real expert but to have such a basement gives to Elinor look of not fully polished game... on the videos it looked like there is quite a mess on the board with them and with unit hexes.
Elinor reminds me a little bit of Hexpanse and Champions of Hara so maybe you could have a look on their campaigns.
At the end - looks like a really promising gem (yes, I ment "gem" :) ) with awesome art but more details and polishing is needed in my opinion. Of course I understand that polishing it would increase the cost but I am sure this will bring more people in :)
Ah. Ok then.
Is it possible to get both books by pledging an extra 5$?
@Troy, RUS postal service is notorious for "losing" packages. $20 means tracked/insured mail.
$20 shipping to the U.S.??
