Manufacturing: Quick Update
Long time no update. I was waiting until we had more interesting news, but I feel like it's been too long since our last update.
Side Note: If you want to change your shipping address within the next couple of weeks, you can send me a direct message with your new shipping address.
TLDR: We're working out the kinks of making sure everything is good to go with relation to manufacturing. We still expect to deliver before November.
We've been going back and forth with our manufacturing to triple check that all of our ducks are in a row before committing to the print-run. Since we're dealing with an overseas manufacturer, sometimes communication gets a bit delayed.
I did get to see a list of components they intend to make with a minor detail error. We're just being overly cautious since our last game had some mishaps with the communication between us and manufacturing that wound up causing some headaches.
For distribution, we expect no significant delays once the games are in our warehouse, since we've worked with this distributor for awhile now and are fairly satisfied with them.
In the mean time, we have a couple of upcoming events (September and November) that I'd like to let you all know about and if you want to pre-order AlakaSLAM or show your friends a bit about Rise, you can do so at (www.eye4games.com).
On September 23rd, in Cambridge, MA, we will be showcasing one of our games in development at BostonFIG (https://www.bostonfig.com/). It's called Aloft, and is a light 4x game about being a sky commodore. You can find more info about Aloft at our website (www.eye4games.com).
From November 17-19th, in Philadelphia, PA, we will be part of the Tabletop Co-op's booth at PAX Unplugged (http://unplugged.paxsite.com/). This is the first non-digital PAX to be run, so check it out. We'll be showcasing Rise of the Robotariat and AlakaSLAM, and we'll hopefully have delivered the rewards to you by then.
