The Greatest Snake shrugs off the idea of using numbers and counters to keep track of score. As the game progresses, you’ll see the whole battle physically unfold in front of you! Eaten rats become new body cards, empty body cards can be filled with equipment, and equipment can be covered by rats. So rev up your jetpack, tape on your crab claw, and get ready to become...

The basic idea behind our stretch goals is to add value to the game for as many backers as possible without dramatically raising shipping costs. These are what we have in mind for now, and if we manage to hit these we'll add more!
The Greatest Snake is designed by Darren Urmey and Joshua Kurtz, and illustrated by Max Kay. Darren is an alumnus of the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Game Design and Development program, and Joshua has a deep passion for snakes, games, and snake games.

Risks and challenges
We've seen where other Kickstarters have made mistakes that caused delays, and done our best to avoid those pitfalls. All the art for the core game is already finished, and we've printed test copies of the game at the full quality that will be shipped to backers (as seen in our video). We also avoided reward tiers with things like t-shirts and posters that just complicate the fulfillment process and force goals to be higher.
If we hit stretch goals, there may be small delays while we finish the relevant materials, or there might be longer production and shipping delays if we get an extreme number of backers. Aside from those, there's always a possibility of other delays with the manufacturer/shipping that could be out of our hands. We're doing what we can to make sure things go smoothly, but sometimes bad things happen to good snakes and we'll adapt to those types of problems if and as they arise, and keep backers updated every step of the way.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
