THANK YOU SO MUCH TO SEAN CROXTON FROM UNDERGROUND WELLNESS AND EVERYONE WHO PLEDGED TO HELP US REACH OUR GOAL ALREADY!!!!
There are still A LOT of great rewards left!!! Anything over the goal will be used towards KS/Amazon Fees and for cooking supplies on the truck! Thank you!
Not II Fast! will be the new addition to the Not So Fast! family here in San Diego.
A couple of months ago, thanks to you amazing people, we were able to get the Not So Fast! Food Truck funded! Since July 28th, Not So Fast! has been super busy on the streets of San Diego County serving up our paleo & primal goodness at Schools, Churches, CrossFit events, Food Truck Gatherings, Festivals, Corporate Business Parks, Farmers Markets and much more! We have been so busy that we have been turning down events and food truck meetups for months due to overbooking.
Recently, we came across a solution: an opportunity to get a "new" truck for a great price. We saved everything we had made since we started and bought the truck ourselves! We nicknamed it "Drew" and she is a BIG, black beauty(....for now, keep reading!)
Stocked full of equipment, Drew is going to be an ideal mobile kitchen for NSF! to utilize. Our new truck has 2 flat top grills, a 4 burner stove top and 3 ovens! The possibilities are endless!!! We will be able to BAKE our BACON! (stoked!) We can finally have a slow cook/soup/crock all the time! We can serve more food and create new eats! The new menu will combine some of the Not So Fast! favorites, like the Beefeater and Bison Burger, with our fresh seasonal ideas including: Baked Wild Alaskan Salmon, Grass Fed Flank Steak w/ Sauteed Mushrooms & Onions, Spicy Yellowtail Street Tacos & much more!
We also have a mini fryer which will allow us to use Organic Palm Shortening or Rendered Pig Fat to fry healthy sides like Sweet Potato Chips, Root Veggies & more!
We will continue to source our products from farms like: Open Space Meats, Suzies Farm, Tropical Traditions, Taj Farms, Cook Pigs Ranch, Shelton Farms, and Paradise Valley Ranch.
Just like Not So Fast!, we are Gluten Free, Soy Free, Grain Free, Legume Free, with No Added Sugar, No Processed Foods and No Preservatives. However, we do use grass-fed dairy like Kerrygold cheese & butter, and on occasion, raw milk cheese curds.
Since our opening on July 28th, Not So Fast! has been one of the busiest and hottest new trucks to hit the streets of San Diego, CA. We have worked 200 events in less than five months and that isn't enough for us! We want more!! We want to be out there for anyone craving healthy fast food on the go, and now we can! Our goal is to spread the good food word like wildfire and we can only imagine the possibilities of our efforts with 1 more truck out there!
Although, we had our own funds to purchase the truck...we are now running low on operating costs and can't sink any more into Not II Fast! We need your pledges to help us get the truck wrapped. Our new truck is a bit bigger than the last truck so our estimate has gone up. We were quoted a little over $4000 for our wrap and we are asking for that to get us going. This will help us get Drew out on the road by our goal date of 1/23/13 !
We are beyond grateful to every single one of you who has ever pledged, come to our truck, shot us an email, told a friend about us, or even just clicked on our website....It is unbelievable how much support we have received. We feel truly lucky to be riding such an amazing wave here in San Diego. Help us continue our dream, 1 truck, 2 truck, 3 trucks 4....Which city is next! :)
Remember, if we don't raise the $4000.00 goal, we get absolutely nothing. Every dollar counts. Even if you can't help, sharing with friends and family would be greatly appreciated!
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.

Risks and challenges
Due to this being a full time job as it is, having two trucks ain't any easier! Bob will take more time off of the truck to take on an admin position handling Marketing, Social Media, Events. June and Ves will run the two trucks along with 3 other staff members!
Not So Fast! went from being a company of 2 to a company of 6...and possibly a 7th!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Any money raised over the goal obviously will go towards Amazon and Kickstarter fees first, they can add up :/
Anything left over after that will go towards maintenance on the trucks generator so we can work longer at events without any disruption or truck issues. We will also use it for cooking supplies for the new truck (ie. spatulas, grill cleaner, pots, pans, etc.
