Well that took longer than I thought...
Off to the printer! For the last 6 weeks, I've been saying I needed about 3 more days to finalize the book, and in the meantime I've roadtripped, painted new locations, added new artwork to the book, increased the page size from 176 pages to 196 pages, just generally hammered away at this book to the annoyance of my family and friends alike.
"Wrap it up already!"
Harder than it sounds... I want this to be as good as it can be, so I wasn't going to send off until I felt 100% about it, which seemed like might never happen.
But at last the book layout and text is all complete and signed off and the project is off to the printer for the first round of proofs. We're still on schedule to deliver in November, but it'll be hectic. Bear with us.
We really appreciate your patience on this, we've got a lot to do fill everyone's rewards in addition to the book but now that we're moving into the hurry up and wait stage (printing the book is a little more than a 3-month process) I'll have time to focus on these other rewards.
Our next focus will be connecting with those that committed to getting original paintings. If you're in that group expect to hear from us very soon so we can sort out details of locations, timing, ect.
Looking forward to delivering everything to all of you in good time.
Working hard on the book!
... and that is not my dog.
