Happy new years, another big milestone, and stretch goal unlocked!

Happy New Year! We hope you’ve had an amazing holiday with your friends and family. We wish you all the best in 2017 and we’re really looking forward to what this year has in store.

We’re back from the holidays and more excited than ever! We recently hit another huge milestone. The Arctic now has over 6000 backers with over $450,000 in pledges! This is absolutely incredible. Words cannot describe how grateful we are for all of your support.

We’re excited to announce that the newest stretch goal has been unlocked! We will be creating an awesome Arctic Cold Brew Recipe Guide E-book. This stretch goal came as a suggestion from many of our backers and we thought it would be a GREAT idea to bring to life. Our goal is to make sure that we get the Arctic in your hands ASAP so we will keep you updated about the timelines for the recipe guide. With only 4 days left in the campaign, we encourage you to share the news about the Arctic with your friends and family who love coffee!

I'd like an explanation as well...

Uh Oh. I have seen something like this before in another Kickstarter, Dianne. If the creator did his/her homework before launching the Kickstarter, he/she probably got quotes on everything from a manufacturer overseas. In order to do that, the creator had to send design plans. The creator then told the manufacturer it will be a couple of months before the funds can be collected since they plan to use Kickstarter. At that point, someone at the overseas manufacturer has plans in their possession and no anti-counterfeit laws to punish them for taking them somewhere and copying the creator's idea. At least I hope it went this way and not the way you are thinking.
