Only 24 Hours Left to Help Families Climb Out of Crisis and Into Permanent Housing

The clock is ticking- when we make our goal, our Christ-centered homeless ministry expands.

If we don’t make our goal within 24 hours- your pledge doesn’t get charged, and our ministry faces a setback.

Thank you to all who have pledged so far. When we reach our goal, you will be making a difference in the lives of those we help. Your encouragement is inspiring. To further help our ministry, please spread the word to your friends, your neighbors, your church. When they pledge, they enable us to publish and distribute materials that will expand our successful approach and help more families in need. Pledges start at just $1 and every pledge matters.

We have been helping homeless families for the last three years climb out of crisis by giving them the spare bedroom in our own home. Now we can guide other families who want to taste “The Best Dinner I Never Ate,” and get the feeling of deep fulfillment. Our long term vision is similar to a foreign exchange student program, where a host family takes in a screened, insured homeless family for a month- long enough for that family to save for a security deposit and get into permanent housing. This will be a life-changing experience for both the family that is homeless and the host family. And YOU can be a part of the deeply fulfilling joy of loving our neighbors as ourselves.

This TV clip sums up our ministry's beginnings:

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”Matthew 11:28 Help us be His hands and feet and reach out like the Good Samaritan.

Please don’t feel pressured to pledge if you are not in a position to do so right now, you are probably giving in very generous ways that we aren’t. If you are able to pledge within the next 24 hours (before Sun April 28th2:47pm PST to be exact), it will advance our ministry, and countless homeless families will be very grateful.

Thank you,

Lori Prentice
