Hello Chosen Ones,

As you know, we intend to gather a team of amazing artists on our project. Today, we introduce to you Anastasia Balakchina:

Priest of the Black Sun (Art by Anastasia Balakchina)

Anastasia about herself - "My name is Anastasia. I am 28 years old and I live in Moscow. I started studying art almost 10 years ago, and it is my the greatest love. I combine painting with working in science. I also love traditional art and try to get some of its features in my works. In my free time, when it happens, I prefer to be at home with books, games and my two cats."

Bastien's words on Anastasia's work - "I spent a lot of time developing the Wildlands as a first person game. and as if every landscape I was writing about or illustrating was seen from the eye of a player character. This was my way to build the world and look at it in a contemplative way. But very quickly, the need to inject a bit of human life into that world appeared, and I started to look at artists who had this kind of "traditional painting" classical fantasy style. With the GODS team, we spotted Anastasia on Artstation and fell in love with the dusty, bony, dry flesh of her paintings. Since then, everything she is doing for GODS (and that we can not share yet) is just amazing me!"

And here are some of her personal works:

I love it! Her work has a very classic feel--reminds me a bit of painters like El Greco with the heavy brush strokes.
