------------------------------------THANK YOU-------------------------------------------

We have reached our target!! A great big thank you to all of our backers for your donations, we are extremely touched at the outpouring of generosity toward our project. Although we've met our set target of £3000 the full price of the show will be around £6000 and so donations are still very much welcome!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

47 graduates from the Glasgow School of Art Painting and Printmaking course will exhibit their work in London at the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane on the 2nd-6th July, as part of The Free Range Show. With the destruction of the Mackintosh Building, we lost a valuable platform for showcasing the culmination of four years hard work. ALL YOU CAN EAT is the perfect opportunity for us to take our work beyond Glasgow and to exhibit to a wide new audience in a location central to London’s art scene.

ALL YOU CAN EAT is more than a painting show. We are an eclectic group  and we will be running community workshops, performances, poetry readings and other events throughout the week in London.

While this is all incredibly exciting, we initiated this project entirely off our own back, and we need to raise all of the funds ourselves.

Your donations, whatever the amount, will go a long way towards realising this show.

Thank you!

WHERE YOUR MONEY WILL GO

  • The Space & Insurance - Using and insuring the space for a week is not free nor cheap.
  • Transport & Packaging - All of our work is in Glasgow, to get it to the space we need to safely package it and hire drivers and vans to deliver it to The Truman Brewery in London.
  • Promotion - We want people to come to the show. We will be making posters for the show as well as running workshops with the community alongside the show in the space and using the space for performances.

Risks and challenges

Once the project is fulfilled there will still be potential obstacles. £3,000 is only half of the full price. If we do not reach our target the show must and will go on. The cogs for potential resolutions to a lack of funding are already in motion. We are trying to supplement our funding through other avenues, writing proposals to different arts charities, throwing club nights, events, and bake sales.

After the funding is fully realised our largest challenge will be safely delivering, curating and installing the best possible show in the first week of July, a fortnight after our degree show in Glasgow.

The show is a necessity and must go on.
Thank you very much for your time and support!
