Rat and "expanding the base" detailed description
One of our sculptors, Andrzej Orzechowski, has just finished 3d model of rat. Rat is the only enemy (excluding humans - bandits and bosses) which isn't machanical. But it isn't normal rat you know from basements :) This animal is huge, deadly and mutated beast!
Expanding the base
On the base board, besides the time and turn track, you can find 5 Rooms. Each room has 3 Expansion Levels that can be modified during a campaign. The rooms are utilized to produce different items used during the game. In the Forge (a) characters can manufacture Melee Weapons. In the Workshop (b) Ammo, Explosives, and Equipment can be made. In the Armory (c) you can make Armor. In the Gunsmith you can produce (d) Ranged Weapons, while in the Lab (e) – Implants, Drugs, and other technologically advanced gear. In order to expand a chosen room, you must perform the following steps:
1. Discard as a cost all game components shown on the back of a given card (f).
2. Place the Base Expansion Marker corresponding with a given room on the time track (g) on a space indicating the number of days based on what is shown on the back of the chosen card next to the expansion cost (h).
3. Once the required number of days has passed, place the higher-level room card on its space of the base board. From now on, you can start producing new gear.
Besides the rooms used for production, in the base you can store any gear not currently needed by your characters (i.e. items not fitting the equipped gear), modules and fuel cells. There is no limit to the number of listed game components that can be stored in the base. In order to leave something from your character’s equipped gear or to add something to it from the base, the hunter marker must be on the base board (i.e. the hunters must move to their base).
