Homesick Magazine - Issue 3
Raising money to print Homesick Magazine Issue 3 - An archival magazine all about pop culture, based in London.
This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Sun, December 16 2018 5:38 PM UTC +00:00.
Homesick is a printed archival magazine based in London.
Founded by Reagan Clare, an archivist and researcher by profession, the magazine aims to showcase behind-the-scenes content that cannot (for the most part) be found on the internet. All about pop culture; it covers fashion, film, music and art through candid interviews and rare archival imagery.
Starting in 2018, Homesick has since released 2 free issues that were distributed across London. Issue 3 will be the first chargeable issue of the magazine and is set to break new ground, with more focused archival content and greater availability across the UK.
Issue 3 contributors include: stylist Caroline Baker, band The Raincoats, collector Roger K. Burton, photographer Eddie Otchere, Kerry Taylor Auction House, Janie Lightfoot Textiles, The Ritzy Picturehouse and The Mary Evans Picture Library.
*In June 2018 Homesick featured in the exhibition 'Print: Tearing It Up' at Somerset House, curated by the author Paul Gorman. https://www.somersethouse.org.uk/whats-on/print-tearing-it-up
*In November 2018 founder of Homesick Reagan Clare spoke at MagCulture's 'ModMag 2018' London conference. https://magculture.com/modmag-report-london-2018/

Risks and challenges
Still in production, content for Issue 3 will be completed by December 2018 and will be print-ready for the new year. Once funding is complete, the magazine will be sent to print in early January 2019.
Homesick Issue 3 will be printing 500 copies with Park Communications.
Issue 3 will be distributed in mid to late January 2019. To those pledging £50 or more you will receive your magazine prior to public release.
The magazine will be available in select stores across London and the UK including MagCulture and Stack Magazines. Copies will also be available at select online stockists including Homesick's official online shop.
