The CoDrone is a quadcopter that you can easily program using our friendly, step-by-step videos. Whether you are brand new to drones and coding or you're a longtime drone lover, you will have a blast with the CoDrone.
With the CoDrone package, you can follow step-by-step tutorials and invent all kinds of cool applications. Going all the way from simply by making the drone fly to having it follow people or even battle other CoDrones.
Using various sensors and on-board camera, CoDrone can follow people around. For Laser Tagging battle, you can do utilize attacks and shoot missiles that use infrared sensors.

Risks and challenges
Most of the risks and challenges are behind us. We have completed a successful Kickstarter project (Rokit Smart) in 2015. Our team of experienced drones and robotics engineers poured their lives into designing this kit. Our kit has been tested by hundreds of users in California and Korea. Throughout the testing phase, we worked to perfect the kit based on the feedback of the users. These users had a blast working with our prototypes and were able to create some absolutely incredible machines. And now, CoDrone is ready for you. It's for people of all ages and all it's going to take is your support.
At this point, there is just one hurdle left: production. Many of the parts in this kit were custom-designed by our engineers and we have very exacting standards, so creating the molds and manufacturing the components can be very expensive. Thankfully, we have identified some top-tier factory partners who can produce our kits with a very quick turnaround time.

Yes, there is (320 x 240) and we will be making better resolution cameras an add-on in the future.
Yes, currently it's compatible with Android, and iOS will be working very soon, although we encourage more people to make the drone autonomous and customize it for their own needs.
You can fly the CoDrone for about 5 - 8 minutes with our battery, or drive it with the rover add on for 25 minutes. It takes about 40 minutes to charge, but with the multi-charger and three to four batteries, you will be able to fly your drone nearly continuously.
CoDrone uses Arduino, which is an open-source, easy to use language based in C/C++.
