About this project
We are aiming to make a fast paced 2D/3D fighting game. Think BlazBlue meets Naruto with some Injustice: Gods Among Us.
We want to make the game look like an epic anime or comic book fight scene, so we're using a very active camera to make the game feel more cinematic.
One of the things that sets this game apart is its dynamic camera angle. At any point, you can switch from 2D to 3D, which changes the way you play. In 3D mode, you can interact with the environment in a whole new way.
Another thing we are aiming to accomplish, is to make the player feel powerful. We want our characters to be able to do the craziest moves! Sticking to walls, using unique weapons, and overkilling your opponent with ridiculous, larger than life moves are things we are working on right now!
Each character has a "Special Bar" that they can use while they are fighting. More info on this coming real soon! Essentially, If you look at the ice character in the trailer, he needs his ice bar to perform certain ice powers. You can charge up your bar by holding down a button.
In 2D mode, the game plays a lot like a traditional fighting game. You move forward, back, and you can step side to side. It is fast paced and intense.
Here, you have more spacial freedom and you gain interactivity with the environment. You can pick up objects around you and throw them at your opponent. You can also access different areas of the stage. All of your attacks are still available in 3D mode, so you can still fight like you would in 2D.
*Aaron: An ice user. Able to create ice from the atmosphere around him. A slow, but powerful character.
*Lilith: A bipolar demon, her attacks depend on how she feels. She uses bladed yo-yos, claws, and other distinct approaches to fighting.
*Silver Mantis: A master of Praying Mantis Kung-Fu. He uses Twin hooks, a grappling gun, and stun mines to fight his opponents. He is a very fast and tactical fighter.
We plan on releasing this game on PC and Mac first, hopefully through Steam. If the game does well, we will then try to bring the game to as many other platforms as we can.
Here is the breakdown of our stretch goals:
For $3,000, we'll make the game with six playable characters, a few stages, and lots of hats. If we only raise $3,000, we'll have to offer the other characters after the game's release as DLC.
$4,500 Online multiplayer! We REALLY want to hit this mark.
For every $2,000 more that we raise after $4,500, we'll add a new playable character + a new stage + more customizable options!
Where is the money going? Well first off, our programmer needs a PC. His recently died, and it is kind of important to have one in order to make a game.
We are a team of two, and we can't do everything. We need to hire voice actors, musicians, graphic designers, etc to finish making the game, and that costs a lot of money :/
We'll be updating this website really soon with some awesome screenshots and more info! We're very exited to show you more characters too! :)

Risks and challenges
This is not our first time making a game, but it is our first time using Unity. However, our programmer is very qualified, and he has not had any issues understanding the program so far.
We are a very passionate team and we won't let any obstacle stop us!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
