Hitting the Goal, Designing the CD, and What's Next

We hit our goal today! Crossed the $1200 mark. The project is funded. Yes!

I (Jonathan) am working on the layout for the CD demo. I included a photo of the traycard (the back of the cd case). Gabriel O'Brien is working overtime to get last minute stuff done with the audio tracks. He has gone above and beyond what we thought originally, as has most everyone involved in You Have Not Seen. It's amazing what people can pull off when they are really excited about something.

So what's next? On our end we are preparing for the weekend of September 22nd. The artist reception happens from 2-4pm on Sunday (the 22nd). There are still preparations to make. It looks like I we may do a concert on Saturday the 21st. Kelly Clemons, the front woman of Surge On Smith is coming up from Texas and we're planning to play a set. I co-wrote most of the Surge on Smith tunes, and it's one of the best projects I've had the privilege to be a part of. Live shows for Surge are rare, so if this comes together it's one more reason to make the trek to Bluffton in a few weeks. It's still in the works and it's possible that it might not happen, so check back on my blog before you book a flight http://jrlive.blogspot.com

And what about you? Well, thanks again for your interest in the project. If you want to join in you can still pledge and/or you can tell friends about the project and the Kickstarter campaign. Everyone is welcome at the Sept. 22nd reception, and any pledges we get on Kickstarter from here on out go towards giving away the art. So if you know people who are looking for something unique to throw their generosity towards (or are secretly longing to be patrons of the arts, or instigators of bizarre redemptive happenings), send them to here.
