The story follows a group of PAs who work in the least glamorous side of the film industry: the production office. They've worked as PAs since film school so this new gig, an NYC based heist movie from prolifically successful director Jesus H. Jones, is business as usual; that is until they're all fired by the studio and replaced with intern slaves. Our heroes decide that this aggression will not stand and they hatch a scheme to steal a particularly expensive prop from the production, but the evil studio executive Beth Bathory is one step ahead of them...
We have begun production here in New York and have been extremely fortunate to have an incredible cast (performers from UCB Theatre and Harvard Sailing Team), and a small but talented crew, all working for deferred payment. Also we were able to secure most of the equipment in-kind thanks to some particularly awesome friends.
We are currently on schedule to wrap principal photography in late October and we are raising funds for the final weeks of the shoot (Ryan Amelio and I have ravaged our respective bank accounts beyond recognition) but we primarily need help with the costs of post-production and distribution.
