Griffin Sinn and Seth King are Co-Founders of Checkmate Ventures LLC. Together, they have taken the Handy Pillow from an idea to a tangible product. As product-focused entrepreneurs, they are always on the lookout for simple, yet functional solutions to everyday problems.
As frequent travelers, they often struggled to get comfortable when resting their hands on their heads to sleep (they call this "the elbow planted, hand-on-face, head rest problem"). It didn't take long for them to notice that many others struggle with this problem as well. This realization led to their "a-ha!" moment, and the Handy Pillow was born. Since then, Griffin and Seth have perfected the Pillow, so that people everywhere can turn to the Handy Pillow for comfortable travel and lounge.
The Handy Pillow is one of those "Why didn't I think of this?" products. We must hit our $9,500 goal in order to reach minimum order requirements and bring this "handy" product to life.
