      Hey where is my DVD?

    2. Ray Barnhart on May 27, 2012

Still no DVD or poster :(

      Hi Amy --

The invite was only redeemable for the premiere of the film in December. The screenings are now all a bit different (some we're spearheading, others are collaborative or independent), but in all these cases, ticketing happens independent from Kickstarter rewards (though a number of events are free).

Come out and join us -- and be sure to say hello when you do.

    4. Amy Rowan on February 21, 2012

      Hello Jacob,
I was wondering how do we redeem the invite to your screenings? So excited to see the finished product! -Amy

Hi! When are the DVDs being sent out? While I dont mind watching the installments on Gothamist, I'm a little jealous of the folks in Brooklyn, Denver, etc who are seeing the full length film before I have...

I'm excited about the forthcoming release! One little problem: I just went to the "Thanks" page ( and was disappointed to find my name wasn't on the list, even though I supported at the level that is supposed to give me an Associate Producer credit. Could you have a look and see what is up.

Just a quick note to say I'm looking fwd to the finished project and coming to NYC for the premiere. On the cameos, I hope there are still kids making it up "on the block" as they were in the 80s (like Rosie Perez does in the opening credits to Spike Lee's "Do The Right Thing"), and that you capture a few sweet moments of their genius and joie de vivre. Best to you and your crew! Rick Ellis

This is a great project. If you are looking for another freestyle dance devotee....I spent all last year making a dance video every day for my Freebox Everyday Dance project I'd love to participate somehow....

Girl Talk has some awesome jams! I really dig this project, and I'm sure my friends will love to check it out!

PS: You guys should check out my project, "Get Out Alive". Our original goal was set at $500, and we surpassed that in nine days. Now we're trying to reach $1000.

Read about this and checked it out - it made me so happy just watching! Uplifting, inspiring, JOYFUL! Anne, I love what you said about what you'd be doing if there was no one else on earth: dancing! I believe you - your spirit is amazing. Rock it, you guys! Can hardly wait for the whole film!

    13. Film Schooled on March 11, 2011

Anne's a great dancer, obviously with lots of stamina. I think her lines would be cleaner, and it would be more enjoyable, if she took her jacket off. Keep going and good luck!

IM DEDICATING MY pledge to all the innocent street-on-lookers, standerbyes, oh, bystanders!-who endure the shock of seeing a lady so fancy and light on her feet that yes, She is dancing, in public, just because she must! Ahoy!

    27. Cathy Brinkworth on February 8, 2011

Best to you Jacob. Kickstarter provides an awesome opportunity for everyone to realize their dreams.
Are you coming through Chicago? Give a shout if we can help out.

You guys are killing it with the fund raising. Kudos! Can't wait to see the finished piece and I hope to bump into you all while filming and two step with you in passing.

I'm dedicating my pledge to my daughter, Saskia, affectionately (or not) known as the "Dancing Lady". She hooks up her iPod &dances the streets of Truckee, California. Last summer she was actually detained by the Truckee police for dancing down the street. Evidently, "there's a law...." Thank you in advance for possibly opening some minds and spirits.

Oh man this is completely awesome.

    32. Jacob Krupnick Creator on February 2, 2011

@Blaine: We'll start in NYC, but LA is definitely in the cards. Though there are millions of little steps to be taken before then, it shall be done! We'll keep you posted. Thanks for the good spirit.

    33. Blaine Aldridge on February 2, 2011

Jacob-- Was the opening going to be in NY, LA, or you don't know yet? Amazing stuff!

    34. Jacob Krupnick Creator on February 2, 2011

@Paul: Fingers crossed for this summer. We have some venue ideas, but will definitely be seeking interesting places for it.

@ Sarah: We're out of cameo options! We're trying to shoot pretty discreetly, so cameo performances will be happening in NY in fairly under-the-radar places.

Jacob-- I love Girltalk! So excited about this project... good luck!

    36. Sarah Salzman on February 2, 2011

Just out of curiosity, how will the cameo appearances work out? Will they only be done in New York or will you travel to us? AND, can the cameos include dancing if our skills are up to par? ;) Thank you for this amazing project, I am so looking forward to supporting you and being a part of this innovative concept!!

    37. Paul Antico on February 2, 2011

It is great to see dance like this! When did you say the Los Angeles screening is happening? !!

    38. Jeremy Garnett on February 2, 2011

What a wonderful project. My favourite place to dance is on the bus as it sways round the roundabouts. If its radio is on, all the better.

    39. Arielle Hoffman on February 2, 2011

This is such a cool makes me want to dance in the streets...even when people are looking :) Jacob - I checked out your other work, really inspirational. Congrats on getting funded!

    40. Barry Ezell on February 2, 2011

I'm almost finished making a free iPad app based around All Day. It's so cool to witness other creative works flowing from a single seed and it's all possible because of the Creative Commons license. Keep up the good work, guys!

    41. Jacob Krupnick Creator on February 2, 2011

@Pieter: Hate to leave you uncertain, but we need to think about it. We're shooting in a lot of tricky environments to stage performances in, and we want to consider how many extra people we'll have with us. Email us at, and let us know you're interested. Thx!

@Jacob I'm in Stockholm, Sweden, a place that should be seen in the summer, not in February or any other cold dark month :)

    46. Molly McAleer on February 2, 2011

Hi. I am obsessed with this project and upset that Anne is not on Twitter. If I donate $5 (the best I can do, unfortch), will Anne join Twitter/be my friend?

    47. Jacob Krupnick Creator on February 1, 2011

Olof -- We're with you there and have the feeling our iTunes "Most Played" list must look pretty similar. We're really pumped to go all the way with this. Where in Sweden are you? It's good to map out our dream destinations.

    48. Olof Lindholm on January 29, 2011

I think I've listened to "All Day" a million times by now and loved every second of it. So happy someone makes a dance video to it. Hope you make the pledge!
