End of the Line is a game of post-apocalyptic family survival. Your goal is to outlast your opponents as you experience mutant attacks, dehydration, starvation and some of the worst pop culture references the end days has to offer. 3-5 Players (1st social stretch goal met), ~70 min, Ages 13+ brought to you by Fight in a Box.
In End of the Line, you experience the end times from the perspective of an everyday citizen. With your Dad, Mom, Boy, Girl and Dog your family must stand in line waiting for food, water, fuel, and ammo. Meanwhile, terrible things (played by you and your opponents) are happening trying to make collecting those resources difficult. It's worker placement gone horribly, horribly wrong.
End of the Line is a project 5 years in the making. Has been a convention favorite at events like Adepticon, Warmachine Weekend, CaptainCon, Convergence, and Con of the North. Now we're finally making it available to you in this Kickstarter.
"You had me at 'kill the last human in the Food Line and add Spicy Pork to the menu.'" - Craig Gallant, The D6 Generation
"End of the Line is a terribly fun game with neat interactions, great components, and a riotous storyline. I had a great time playing it; you will, too." - Jeff Tidball, Game Designer
"What's not to love about stealing you friends wife and children and then watching him send an incompetent hitman that shoots his own father instead of me....it's awesome. Just promise me if you buy it you name each meeple...it really makes the game when Sally gets attacked by mutants and fluffy dies of dysentery!!" - David Farr, Nerdherders
"A great passive aggressive way to tell your friends how you really feel about them." - Mattew Alix, Nerdherders
Since we're into the last 48 hours, you may not have time to watch one of the better/longer videos below. Here's a 3 min overview of game play. We cover each phase and what happens in each.

Your Turn Go talks about their experience playing and also walks through of some of the stretch goals (sorry, Seppy says "tiers" when he's talking stretch goals.)
Nick from Board Game Brawl does a great job of summing up End of the Line in 11 min.
An entire game play video with commentary and opinions by All Us Geeks.

#1. Help us spread the word! If we reach 100 shares of this project's Kickstarter video on Facebook we'll add the 5th family to the game. That means 5 more meeples, 1 home plate, 1 pass card, and 12 resources (3 of each.) And a total player count of 3-5. COMPLETED.
#2. We want to trade you for the Black Market. We'll trade you 100 "Secret Stash" Selfies tweeted to @fightinabox #EndoftheLine or messaged to Fight in Box on FB. What makes it a "Secret Stash" Selfie? We not only want a picture of you making your best post apocalyptic face, but included is an object you'd want in your fallout shelter. Since any trade at the Black Market is a one-for-two, we'll also use the best selfie as an inspiration for a card in the Inevitable Machine Revolt(IMR) - the first End of the Line expansion (more on IMR later.) One selfie per person will be considered for the stretch goal/inspiration. Also, nothing too awkward please. COMPLETED. Congrats to Edward for inspiring the most likes - mmmm beer.
#3. The Blitz - Part 1 Complete. Less waiting, more gaming. We unlocked the Print-n-Play for all backers of the base game and above.
#4. The Blitz - Part 2 complete. We made our goal before the final 48 hour email reminder. We'll include another set of families for the unique family variant in the base game and above.
Risks and challenges
As with many boardgame projects there is risk in production timelines slipping. We have set a date that allows for time for the unforeseen to occur and to allow us to produce the best possible version of the game to deliver to you.
If any delays should occur or should we have enough backers that we believe the timeline may slip we promise to be transparent with the reasons, the solutions and updated timelines as we progress.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
