If you back us on Kickstarter, your OAK will come with our portable, pocket-sized dock and all four of our OAK kits - the Rockstar Kit, the Gamer Kit, the Explorer Kit and the Developer Kit. OAK also comes with a carrying sleeve & a charging cable.

As of right now, OAK is compatible with iOS devices only. We’re working hard on preparing Android-compatible software so you can enjoy OAK on more devices! We are trying to launch a Beta in 2017!

OAK will work with iOS 8 and up. It will work with all iPhone models, 6 and up.

We plan on shipping with a one year limited warranty. More information will be available about this in the months ahead.

Just download the free OAK app from the iOS App Store.

Just place your phone on the OAK and you’re connected. No need to turn on Bluetooth.

We will be releasing new Kits regularly! So will third-party developers!

The OAK Dock will ship in either red or black. We will ask our Kickstarter Backers to vote on their favorite color and that's what we will make!

OAK’s battery lasts over two weeks with regular use, and will come with a USB charging cable when you are running low on juice. You can use OAK while you’re charging your dock, your phone or both.

OAK is powered through apps on your phone, which can affect your battery life. However, you can use OAK while charging your phone, so don’t sweat it.

Just like other apps on your phone, you can stream OAK to your TV using Apple TV or other streaming services.

The totems (toys, trading cards, etc) in each kit are made specially to interact with the Oak App. Just place any totem in front of the Oak Dock, and it will automatically know whether you want to fly through space, or make a beat.

We will have a dozen built in sounds and instruments to start, but the Rockstar Kit can easily connect to most other music apps on you phone (like Garage Band) for even more options.

We plan to have basic recording functionality at launch. You will also be able to use other apps like Garage Band to record with Oak. Check out the deep dive section for a detailed explanation.

Similar to some of your favorite trading card games like Pokemon, Magic, etc., Oak is a multi-player battle card game. Play with friends at the table next to you or across the country!

If you are a developer, you can use the kit and provided SDK to build new Oak Kits of your own. If you are not a developer, the Dev. Cube that comes with each Oak is a fun way to try out new apps made by independent developers.
