UPDATE: Bonus Tiers Added!
What is SATELLITES?
SATELLITES is the first volume of a comic anthology series. As a group of 9 friends, artist, and storytellers, we have illustrated our own original stories in comic form, to be printed in the first edition of this series. These comics will come together in a beautiful 200+ page hardcover book.
Who is in the book?
We have 9 artists with different disciplines, backgrounds and styles who all share a love of sequential storytelling. The artists/writers are:

What is in the book?
This book is a place where passionate storytellers have written and illustrated their own short form comics. For many of us, this is the first comic we have created. We feel that all of our experience in film, animation, illustration, and fine art have brought us to this place to tell very meaningful tales.
Here are some samples of the art you can expect in SATELLITES Vol.1:
What will you get for supporting us?
Here's a rundown of the reward tiers for backing this Kickstarter. All of these tiers, with all info, can be found to the right, where you can choose what level to support this book and even get some custom art:
We will be using PRINT NINJA as our service to create the print and binding of our books. They have great support, materials, and reputation, and we look forward to working with them.
We will keep you updated here and in your email once you support this project, with how the process is coming along, more about our artists, and just the fun of making a book. Thanks for checking this out, and we hope you enjoy SATELLITES!
Risks and challenges
Once this project is successfully funded, we will work on production of the book. All of the art is complete, so layout and handling the process of printing and shipping will be our task. With Joe Bluhm's experience in printing and publishing books through his imprint, Art Squared Books, this is something we are fully equipped to do.
The custom commissions will need communication and time to be created, so some orders may be delayed due to the time it takes just to make the art. We are hoping to have this book in your hands by this summer, if not sooner.
This is a personal, passion project being done in each contributor's spare time. We do this for the love of story and art, and the joy of sharing. We will do our best to get you this book in a timely fashion so you can enjoy our hard work and love of the medium. Thanks!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
