It's open season! Qwarks Wanted is a 2-6 player's fun & wacky party-game. Observe, slap and memorize to become the best Qwark hunter.
QWARKS WANTED is a wacky, fast-paced, easy-to-understand and easy-to-play party game. You play a Qwark Hunter who will have to catch the most wanted specimens according to imposed criteria that change each turn. The more criteria you have on your card, the more points you will score. Be observant to spot the best cards and be quick to hit them with your hand before your opponents. Oh, and be careful not to catch any forbidden Qwarks.
Qwark hunter is not an easy job but YOU are the best! :)

There you go, you know how to play. Go through the rounds, be the first to score 10 points and you're done! QWARKS WANTED it's 15 minutes of fun to renew as much as you want.
In addition to the game QWARKS WANTED, you will find in the box a rule to play QWARKS WANTED JUNIOR which is a different game for children from 6 years old (but also for the older ones). To play it, you will only use Qwark cards and Score tokens.
Simply deal each player the same number of Qwark cards face down, keep the Score tokens within range and the hunt can begin!
At the end of the game, the player with the highest score is the winner. It's easy to play, dynamic and fun for the children and their parents (who have no chance against these formidable junior hunters ^_^).

QWARKS was my first game successfully funded on the Kickstarter platform in 2017. These funny little particles created by Henri Kerrmarec pleased me so much (and at the backers too) that I decided to thematize my second party game with the same wacky theme.
There are common points between the 2 games such as the format of the box and the cards. As well as, in both cases, the objective is to score the most points by flattening Qwarks (don't worry, they love it ^_^) but similarities end there.
QWARKS WANTED is a totally independent game and really different from its big brother. It is not played in the same way because it requires a good sense of observation and less haste from you. Nevertheless, I can always guarantee you frenetic moments. Furthermore, QWARKS WANTED can be played in 2 totally different ways to satisfy both adult gamers and very young players from 6 years old.
Welcome to the world of Qwarks if you are a new backer or welcome back to the world of Qwarks for my backers of the first campaign. :)
QWARKS WANTED is more than just a speed game. It's also a game of concentration and memory that requires steel nerves not to act too fast.
This game definitively won't exist without your support because, as a one-person company, I can't publish it with just my personal funds. My first game, QWARKS, has been published thanks to the support of 457 awesome backers who trusted me. The game is a critical success and is sold in several French shops.
For this new game, I hope to do even better and succeed in establishing myself in as many French and International stores as possible. To achieve this, I count on your support because the more successful the campaign is, the more likely I will be able to establish myself as a serious publisher with the shops.
In return, I promise you an irreproachable quality of components (rigid box, poker cards with a linen finish, 3mm thick tokens) and at a reduced price (€13 / $15 instead of €15 / $17 MSRP). Furthermore, every backer will receive 2 new Kickstarter exclusive Qwarks cards and each new unlocked Qwark will be exclusive to this campaign too.
You may also have the opportunity to see your own Qwark integrated into the game with your full name or nickname on a card. The more stretch goals you unlock, the more new cards I will add in the box and the more chance you will have to see your creation into the game. How about imagining and drawing your own Qwark and then seeing it in the game alongside all the other Qwarks? Like the idea? That's precisely what I propose you to unlock as a Kickstarter exclusive stretch goal.
You can send me as many illustrations as you want by email (just draw on a sheet of paper for example, then scan it). I will regularly publish the creations received during the campaign.
Then, when the Kickstarter campaign is over, I will draw one or more lucky ones at random (depending on the number of stretch goals unlocked) who will have one of their drawings immortalized in the game.

Risks and challenges
Smile is a one-person publishing company and QWARKS WANTED is my second project on Kickstarter. The first one, QWARKS, was a big success thanks to 457 backers who trusted me. The game had been delivered with 3 months late due to some unfortunately unavoidable problems but everybody receipts their games and I was so happy to read a lot of positive criticism about it. Now, I have a lot more experience and I have already anticipated the setbacks that could slow me down.
The game is significantly developed and has undergone hundreds of hours of playtests to ensure the best play experience. After the Kickstarter campaign, the big work will be to create all the new Qwarks unlocked during the campaign. Then, everything will be ready to start manufacturing quickly.
The biggest foreseeable risks, like with most other projects manufactured overseas, are delays in production, shipping, and customs but all of these has been anticipated and added to the timeline.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
