Three thousand thanks to all of you for supporting our BOOK OF JADE Kickstarter. By now, all rewards have been shipped ... except for a few of you that we've emailed to get further clarification on your custom orders. Some of your items were shipped separately, so if you've received some but not others, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org . (And please email email@example.com directly to supply any address information -- don't post that here!) Your support helped us make our book bigger and better, and we can't thank you enough!
I also have not received my badge yet... but honestly at this point I'm chalking that up as a loss and moving on. It appears everyone seems to be getting them separate from their book orders. I don't really know if that's true or not.
Alas, March is almost over, and I've only recieved Book of Mysteries. No Omnibus or Book of Jade. I has a sadness, I'm afraid they've probably been lost in the void. I tried to update them to tell them I'd moved at the end of last year, but noone ever replied. I have mail forwarding going for another couple of months, but I'm not terribly hopeful :(
got my badge too. I think that was the last thing i needed.
Yes. Surprise, surprise, I opened up my mailbox this afternoon to see the promised badge. Good on Sanguine for fulfilling it, but minus some arbitrarily large number of points for the utter lack of communication that we've seen.
Today, February 28th, 2013, I received the "Certified IRONCLAW" laminated badge with Mary Minch art, that Sanguine promised in update 5. I have finally received all items I was expecting as a backer at my level. As stated in my previous comment, I feel that the upgrades to full color and hardcover were adequate compensation for the extended wait. However, the meager amounts of official communication after September 18th 2012 have prompted me to decide not to back any possible future Sanguine crowdfunding efforts.
The wait is over. Finally received my Book of Jade about three days ago. It looks really good. Though I did notice it came from another company, not RPGNow who was originally shipping them, I thought. I wonder if that had something to do with the long wait.
No longer waiting. I love my new book <3 Thank you!
Over a month since my last comment. I still haven't received any posting from DriveThruRPG or the book itself. Disappointingly, I tried contacting Norman Rafferty directly and was greeted with no response. While I know FA's note system is wonky at times it does tell you when the note has been accessed by the reciever, which it was not long after I sent it. I'm starting to feel that we have been left in the cold while the crew behind this book went off to start their other RPG project, as you can see from Sanguine's page about it's release. After the absolute lack of any information through this Kickstarter I will severely reconsider buying anything from this company or anyone behind it ever again.
Still haven't received my book. Received the notice of shipping in December, and following the tracking number, USPS claims my book has been successfully delivered to Tennessee(?) on January 09. I live in Indiana. USPS seems to have the wrong delivery address listed, so redelivery seems impossible. My book is floating out in limbo! :(
Got my book, and it looks pretty nice!
I got most of my hard-cover copies today (central europe), waiting for Mysteries though as well as the badge, but the books arrived in pristine condition and are looking really gorgeous!
Grats to Sanguine on that one!
I do hope they/you have weathered this kickstarter slump and can offer these volumes and this kind of quality to people ordering their/your stuff in the future.
Yeah, I'm still waiting for the the badge, myself.
Got my shipping notice from DriveThruRPG yesterday, so they're still sending out books.
i just realized the drive thru rpg thing XD my bad for the freak out
got my books. they had a little drop damage but im not to concerned over it. there a lot heavier than i was expecting. still havn't gotten the con badge though.
I am still waiting for my books as well...
Got the Jade Claw and Omnibus books. They were a bit beat up but have gorgeous interiors.
I havent recieved my hard copy at all wtf?
Got my Book of Mysteries. Still waiting on the Omnibus and Book of Jade
@Kazee I think the only Hard Covers were going to be the Jade Claw and Omnibus books.
Book of Jade and Omnibus received, thanks much :)
Got the hardcover Book of Jade, no badge or mini. I like the look of the interior of the book. It's cleaned up in layout and subdivided really well. I like the icons and headers for the martial arts and the spells and things. Should be very easy to use.
I got the book of mysteries a few days ago. it was a paperback. i was exspecting a hard cover version but ill have to go back and check the e-mail on wether or not htat book was included in the upgrade. i should be getting the other books soon. I hope mine don get dropped...
Also i havnt recived the con badge yet either.
I received my book. The package was dropped on one of it's corners during shipping, which damaged one of the corners. Not pleased about that, but that is not Sanguines fault.. No laminated supporter badge. firstname.lastname@example.org still does not respond to email inquiry. Have attempted to contact Jirris directly for information about miniature sculpting.
For those of you who haven't received shipping information, check your spam filters. Gmail classified the shipment information as spam for me.
I don't receive any comunicate about the shipment
Today, 12/29/2012, I received my copies of the Book of Jade and the Ironclaw Player's book, the backer rewards for my pledge level. As described in Sanguine's backers-only update on 9/18/2012, both books have been upgraded to hardcover binding, which I feel is acceptable to make up for the delays. Overall, I am now a satisfied backer now that I have the books.
Notably, the laminated "Certified Ironclaw" badge with Mary Minch art, mentioned in Sanguine's May. 20, 2012 update that was posted while the kickstarter was still actively soliciting pledges (Thanks to Kyle Fullford for reminding me of this), was not included in the shipment. As this was not a factor in my decision to back this project, I would not be too troubled if it didn't arrive. I only mention this so that it's on record for people investigating whether or not to back future Sanguine Kickstarters.
Sanguine may still have plans to ship the badges out separately, and if they communicate this via email or backers-only update, or if I receive my badge, I will post about it here.
I also strongly urge those still waiting on Sanguine to deliver on their promises made in this kickstarter to post their feedback here for all to see. Aside from the email sent out on 12/7/2012 (and the individual emails that DriveThruRPG sends out when the books actually ship), there has been no official communication from Sanguine either here on Kickstarter, or on their own fourms, since the backers-only update that they posted on 9/18/2012. They've had more than enough chance to add their voice to this discussion, and if they won't, those waiting to hear the status of their backer rewards shouldn't be afraid to speak up.
Jirris, I meant Jirris. Sorry.
To any that have contributed at "Preponderance of the Small"
I got a hold of Jarvis on Deviantart, and he seems keen to work on them, but it's coming slowly. I don't have any more information, and we haven't gotten past the design phase, but you might want to find him there and see what's up.
The books are real! I hold one (Book of Mysteries) in my hand!
Now just to wait for the rest of them..
i'm in the same boats as other still no word, nor indication of shipment
Still no response from email inquiries. I paid for a miniature commission and I want to know if/when that is happening.
Really hoping they are doing this in phases because I have yet to receive any tracking information.
any word on that laminated badge thats supposed to come with the physical books?
i got a shipping notification for my books as well.

I also just got my shipping notice from DrivethruRPG, excellent :)
I received a notice this morning that The Book of Jade will ship on Christmas Eve. I will post an update when the book arrives.
Well, I just got a tracking e-mail for the Book of Mysteries from DriveThruRPG. I wonder if the other books will be in the same shipment...
@Jonathan Luse: NP glad I could help.
I got the same email as Paul Gettle. I will post as well when I get my books.
On 11/15/2012, I had made a post describing a lack of updates or correspondence from Sanguine since the backers-only update they had posted on 9/18/2012, and said that I would post again if that changed.
Today, 12/7/2012, I received an update from Sanguine via email (copied below). When I receive my books, I will post again.

Subject: KICKSTARTER: I have seen the future and it is shipping to you
We had chosen OneBookShelf / DriveThruRPG as our fulfillment provider for the Kickstarter project of BOOK OF JADE. We apologize for the many delays. As I write this, the books are in printing production and should be delivered to all parties, hopefully in time for the Christmas rush.
I've seen the proof copies, and the upgrade to hard-cover printing is especially nice. We couldn't make these books without your support, and from everyone here at Sanguine, thank you again!
Here is a statement from OneBookshelf, the fulfillment center:
On behalf of DriveThruRPG / RPGNow, I would like to thank you for your patience and also to apologize for the very long wait you've had to endure. We have been very working hard to get the IRONCLAW books to press and on their way to you; as you may know, there were some technical constraints that delayed book production, but those are all behind us now. Of course, Kickstarter fulfillment is a new process for us as well, and as with most new processes, this one has had its fair share of bumps and hurdles.
Fortunately, the folks at Sanguine have been very understanding, and in the end it has all paid off: I can happily announce that your IRONCLAW books look terrific, and that your orders have (finally!) been processed.

@ Matthew Koelling
Thank you, Matthew, for your updates. This delay has stretched out much longer than I expected and I felt the need to see what other backers had heard.
Hey Jason - if you ever read these comments, it would be good to have official updates from time to time so we know what's going on. You lose our goodwill as we lose our patience....
...I wrote a request for info to mr. Holmgren just moments ago, just before reading all this.
Boy do I ever feel stupid.
So I got second hand information from the Sanguine Forums. I guess the printers missed there deadlines. I asked if there was any way they could update everybody in an official capacity.
I got another email address to try. I will post here if there is any replies.
@ Tsargoth Runeclaw
I contacted Kickstarter. I am now looking at other places to communicate with.
I've made attempts to Jason and Norman as well as to contact Sanguine Games directly. As all attempts at communication have failed I have opted to contact Kickstarter directly to bring this project to their attention. I would encourage others who have followed all the normal channels of trying to contact the project founder directly and have not received a satisfactory reply (or no reply at all) to please do the same.
Contacted Norman Rafferty on his Facebook page, haven't heard anything yet.
I have heard nothing from Jason or another representative from Sanguine Games. I hope to hear something soon. The email I sent to firstname.lastname@example.org address wasn't bounced back, but then no guarantee that someone read it.
I think so. They've really dropped the ball on this one. Doesn't exactly make me want to purchase future products from them.
Should we start kicking and screaming?
I sent an email to email@example.com, I hope I hear something back soon. As anybody else heard anything?
