We started off this year with two fantastic gigs. Our first was at the famous Pizza Express Jazz Club on Dean Street.

After all the hard work the band has been doing in the Autumn on the new arrangements and tunes it was fantastic to play at Pizza Express to such a full house.

The Second gig was at the Red Lion pub venue in Birmingham which we also played last year.

This gig, like the time before, was for the Birmingham Jazz organisation who it is always a pleasure to come play for.

The room was buzzing for this gig and it was so full that people were being turned away at the door!

With all our rehearsals and these two recent gigs the band is sounding better and better all the time. So what's now? We're getting really close to studio time and arrangements are beginning to be made for when and where we'll be recording which is very exciting. There are a few improvements to be made to the scores for the remainder of this month then a few more rehearsals to take place in March and April and then hopefully we'll be there!

We'll be sure to keep you posted on all the news and excitement.
