When a project is successfully funded, the creator must complete the project and fulfill each reward. Once a creator has done so, they’ve satisfied their obligation to their backers.
Throughout the process, creators owe their backers a high standard of effort, honest communication, and a dedication to bringing the project to life. At the same time, backers must understand that when they back a project, they’re helping to create something new — not ordering something that already exists. There may be changes or delays, and there’s a chance something could happen that prevents the creator from being able to finish the project as promised.
If a creator is unable to complete their project and fulfill rewards, they’ve failed to live up to the basic obligations of this agreement. To right this, they must make every reasonable effort to find another way of bringing the project to the best possible conclusion for backers. A creator in this position has only remedied the situation and met their obligations to backers if:
they post an update that explains what work has been done, how funds were used, and what prevents them from finishing the project as planned;
they work diligently and in good faith to bring the project to the best possible conclusion in a timeframe that’s communicated to backers;
they’re able to demonstrate that they’ve used funds appropriately and made every reasonable effort to complete the project as promised;
they’ve been honest, and have made no material misrepresentations in their communication to backers; and
they offer to return any remaining funds to backers who have not received their reward (in proportion to the amounts pledged), or else explain how those funds will be used to complete the project in some alternate form.
The creator is solely responsible for fulfilling the promises made in their project. If they’re unable to satisfy the terms of this agreement, they may be subject to legal action by backers.
I'm getting the feeling they've run out of money again. The communication from Leo started when they received additional funding and now all communication has stopped once again. I'm throwing in the towel. I'm expecting and no longer have the need for it, not that I believe it would be complete in the next 9 months anyways. I am no longer interested in supporting this venture and would also like a refund. What's sad is I'm not even confidant I will receive that. I should have requested it back when they received the additional funding and were actually giving refunds. I have zero trust in you Looncup.
I need a refund considering how unprofessional and poorly timed this project has been. Immediately.

I knew this was risky. When the company of my current mentral cups had to get approval through the fda to sell in the US they had to make changes and it took a long time. With the advancements they proposed I knew it would take time, I was not surprised that there were changes, but I am starting to wonder if this was some fantastical idea that would never be able to see the light of day. Hopefully an update with be forthcoming sooner rather than later.
Its now almost the end of October. As I am now mych older and I dimt believe this will be delivered to me before I hit menopause. Please send me a refund. Im sorry I no longer believe this will be produced.

Hello, I'm not really sure where to go with this request but seeing as progress has once again slowed; I have no interest anymore. I'd would like to be refunded.
Based on the initial campaign, I was really excited about this product. It seemed as though the Loon Cup was much closer to delivery than it actually was. Two years later, we're still waiting. The delays and lack of communication have worn out my patience. I wish you luck with this product development but it's not for me anymore. I am requesting a refund.
Hi, I am not sure where to direct this so I am just posting it here. I would like to request a refund. I really like the idea of this project and am still excited to see how it finally turns out for those who receive one, but due to the birth control I started a few months I no longer have a menstrual cycle so I simply will have no use for the product anymore for a good while.

Like many of my fellow backers, my patience has run thin. I've been putting off replacing my current cup because I keep expecting this one to ship at some point. Also wanted to continue supporting this project. Now, I am inclined to ask for a refund.
I'm extremely disappointed in this company. This was my first real time backing a company and it has been two years and I have not received anything despite the company reaching its' goal. I may have only pledged $40 but I want a refund. I was very excited about the prospect of this device but now I think it has ruined me for supporting other kickstarter campaigns so thank you LoonLabs for that.
This has been very stressful to say the least, I am not going to demand a refund, but you folks were so good at giving updates for a while and now there haven't been any. What is going on? Please be honest with us, give us 'every two weeks' updates you promised. When will they be shipping?

I first requested a refund in April 2016 but never received it. I requested again on May 31,2017 and was told I would receive it by the end of the month (see comments below). I still have not received a refund.
