Avalon’s Solo Adventure system
(Cover for the Tears of War book, part twoof the banners of War series)
With the successful campaign for the backing of Avalon’s Solo Adventure system, we, the folks here at Avalon Games, thought we would run another campaign, this time to support the adventure books. This time up we have Wave Two of our adventure books. Ten more exciting books filled with all kinds of fun.
For those that missed the first run of ASA, Avalon’s Solo Adventure system is a way for you to play 5e D&D by yourself, where you get to control a party of adventurers as they seek out glory and great deeds.
The system is usable for anyone who:
* has ever wanted to play a solo 5e D&D adventure.
* has ever wanted to learn the rules for 5e D&D by playing a fully realized solo version of the game.
* has wanted to play a solo 5e D&D adventure that takes their characters from acquiring their first adventure at an inn all the way up to defeating their evil nemesis.
* has ever wanted to play a fully cooperative game without a Gamemaster sitting on the opposite side of the table.
* just has an hour or two and wants to play a game of 5e D&D.
It’s all here: the inns, the monsters, the treasures, the secrets, and the story!
We won’t go into too much detail here about this great solo game. If you want more information, look at our first campaign here on Kickstarter.
This time around, we are going to offer our great fans some of the planned adventure books at an even deeper discount than what you would have received with your initial support with first campaign for ASA.
As per the request of the majority of your great fans, we will be releasing, through these Kickstarter campaigns, these adventure books in waves. Each wave will allow Avalon to generate and or release these great books is smaller chunks, but with all the books within a series.
Normally an Adventure Book for ASA would retail for $6.99. Those that backed the first campaign will receive an email when these books are released, offering it for $5.99. What we thought we would do here is create a Kickstarter that offers the adventures, in advance, at a price of just $4.00 each. So you, great fan, can get in early and at a greater savings than if you just wait around.

So then, what are we offering?
All the adventure books either follow a story line or are geared toward a set type of adventure. With the adventure books that fall into the Banners of War story (Which continues the story found in the Child of Destiny series), all work toward telling that story, with your characters being a part of the epic events.
If, however, you want to step away and just work as part of the town guard, we have books that deal just with those sorts of adventure. We even have a series of stand-alone, one-off adventures geared toward different character levels, so you can go off on a sidetrack adventure anytime you want.
Each adventure book comes with a great, full-color cover by one of our wonderful artists, and is fully detailed with encounters, maps, and choices, just like those adventure you found in the main game. All are fully bookmarked, of course, and come in a print-friendly version. You, the fans, as always are given permission to go out and have a copy printed up, should you like.
Here are the Books we will be releasing through the second wave.
Banners of War Series (Three Books)
This is a three book series that will continue the story first started with the Child of Destiny series of adventures. If you have been playing through that great series of adventures, the next set of adventure books is the Banners of War. Here though, we will introduce a mass combat system to reflect the nature of war in our setting, so be ready to command massed troops as they stand to protect little Hope and her quest to reclaim her throne.

In the end, we want to get as much stuff out to you fans as we can, so you can have endless adventures with ASA.
We though, do have a special gift for all you great fans. We have been re-working many of the maps for the setting and have compiled them into a single book. Why, well just for fun. We are offering this great book, which can be used for solo games, or if you want to start your own campaign. It is free with your backing of the “I want all the adventure books” selections.

Risks and challenges
While this is Avalon Game’s third Kickstarter campaign, we have been around for a long time and produced well over a thousand PDF games. We have plenty of experience in generating this sort of gaming product line and we are sure we will be able to offer you, the backers, all we have promised and more.
If, for some reason, we are delayed in the release, we will keep you well informed and updated on what is going on. If we cannot release the product, you will be reimbursed for your backing, or given a series of games of your choice in compensation. We do not foresee this taking place, but it is our goal to keep all of you great fans happy. and will bend over backward if we need to see that all of you remain our fans.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
