Stretch Goal #5, 6, 7 and 8 Achieved

Once more we have achieved another series of stretch goals, with you backers now funding several more in the series of adventures books for ASA.

First we have The King’s Guard series of adventures books will continue many of the plot lines and excitement when your characters join the King’s special guard. This will place your four heroes right in the mix of the royal family and their many troubles and dangers.

“The King's Guard protect the king and his family. They also manage Feldhome's small navy and often go out into the countryside to check on things in the town's hinterland. Well paid and well equipped, they are something an adventurer aspires to become - but joining the King's Guard is not a matter of walking up and asking. Unlike the Town's Guard, they will not take anyone willing to do and learn the work. This adventure book will take your characters from aspiring members of the King's Guard to established ones.

It is a good prelude to the Child of Destiny story quests series, especially if you intend on following the Marriage Track. It requires at least a Glory of 2 and a rank in King’s Man of 3 or more to play the first adventure in this series.

Written by Jennifer Povey, this series is a great way to expand on your previous adventures within the King’s Guard and will take you into several new adventures and exciting encounters. We have yet to hire a cover artist for this one, but while do so soon. As a backer of this campaign, you great fans will get an email with a link for this adventure, at a discount, so you can get it for much less then everyone else.

The next achievement has opened up the second of seven adventure books for the Child of Destiny adventures series. ASA allows for all sorts of adventures and stories, many are one off encounters and adventures, as you will see in the core book’s adventures. Some though offer a story, a longer series of adventures that all tie together to tell an exciting story, one which you can effect and even direct with the actions of your heroes.

Some of the best adventures in the Core book are story adventures, and we have continued that with the Child of Destiny series. Each book builds on events and encounters found in the previous book, all tied together and building a grand story.

I do not want to get too much into the story itself, as that would wreak the experience, but I can say that this second book really takes things in a different direction and your heroes are faced with some hard choices.

This adventure book is clocking in at around 39 pages and once more have a great full color cover by Beatrice Pelagatti. It should see the light of day some time in the early part of 2019. As a backer of this campaign, you great fans will get an email with a link for this adventure, at a discount, so you can get it for much less then everyone else.

Next we have an all-new series of adventures book, Rauh’s Roughnecks. If you want to play some heroes, that are more then happy to be on the other side of the law, you now have your chance by joining Rauh’s Roughnecks.

“The town of Firth is a great place to live. It's also a ripe plum for the picking - if you know how to pick it. This means, though, that it has a healthy, if small underworld. Those who want to work its streets need to get in good terms with Rauh, the halfling who rules the dark side of Firth with an iron, if small, fist.

This adventure book is intended for parties of a more...nefarious...nature. Working with Rauh does not make you out and out evil. In fact, he has quite strict rules - including and especially about avoiding killing when possible (it makes the guard less inclined to keep track of you).

Written by the great Jennifer Povey, we have yet to assign the cover artist, but it will be great I am sure.

The next book we are deep into the Child of Destiny series, this adventure book has the heroes trying to save a small hamlet from dark forces. You could of course just pass on by and focus on your own troubles, leaving the village to its fate, but then what kind of heroes would you be if you did that.

This was my favorite adventure to write in this series, and takes some dark turns for sure. The cover by Beatrice Pelagatti is one of her best and really captures the feel of the adventure. 48 pages long and fully booked marked, the book comes in a print friendly version, as all of our adventures will be presented.

It should see the light of day some time in the early to middle of 2019.

As a backer of this campaign, you great fans will get an email with a link for this adventure, at a discount, so you can get it for much less then everyone else. We are looking forward to the next stretch goal, and as always we want to say thanks for your support and we hope you will have a great time with the game.
