The first of a seven book series planned by the gifted inventor, unites three professional re-writers in the creation of a masterpiece
3 Years In The Making
3 years in the making. 7 book series planned with a possible 8th. Tested by beta readers that sums to one word: "Intriguing."
Joshua Needs The Tool
Joshua was not a writer by any chance. He does have a great story to tell. He just don't have the right tool. Like a musician writes the music, but don't have the symphony orchestra to play it. A lyric writer writes the song, but don't have the voice to sing it. Joshua has the inventive mind to create an extremely intriguing book series, but don't have the tool- the writer's writing style. He is seeking that tool and that is a collaboration of three re-writers.
How The Story Was Born
In April 2010, the 22-year-old Joshua Roehrig was in the passenger’s seat. As usual, his mind teemed with ideas. He was fascinated by the story of Joann Rowling’s success.
He knew a story had a protagonist and a villain. As he looked out the window in the car, he saw something at the curb. Suddenly, he had an idea. In an instant, the villain was impressed upon his mind. It didn't have a brain. From there, very rapidly, the protagonist developed in his mind. It didn't have a throbbing heart.
He would always keep something with him to write ideas down on, even next to his bed, in case he woke up from a dream worth recording. There wasn't much of a story, at first, just ideas like metal debris flinging to his magnetic mind.
Not until a full year later did he begin to type every idea into the computer and discover that here was a total of more than 1,000 ideas.
Originality Is Joshua's Quality
Joshua doesn't like using pre-invented mythological creatures, magic, or powers; they aren't his own. Instead. he created creatures out of his own imagination. Better yet, he invented something as broad as the invention of magic that allows him to aim for infinite possibilities to keep his readers intrigued.
From Mind To World
Before he completed his first rough draft in January 2012, he needed a way to bring his ideas to the world. He realized that there wasn't anyone who could understand his ideas as well as he did. He forced himself to learn how to become a writer. He is self-taught. he was inspired by seeing people constantly reading the Harry Potter series. He learned from that experience about the many possibilities for success.
There weren't any books that taught authors how to write a series. He studied Joann Rowling's success in an attempt to learn about what worked, and why other series novels weren't as popular.
Joshua needed a way to bring his ideas to the world. He had learned just how well Rowling brought magic to the world. Joshua decided to use the structure that Joann Rowling did, having a boarding school because, like Joann, he has so many ideas to show people. He loosely planned the entire series from beginning to end with the flexibility to introduce additional ideas and plots. As Lord Voldemort is the central focus of the Harry Potter series, there is a central focus in this series.
Influences Of His Story
Joshua's childhood was unusual. He could be considered the Cinderella in his step-father's family. He was constantly bullied by others in his school and neighborhood. He became shy. The conflict with the two made him curious. His interests gravitated toward the artistic. At the age of 13, he discovered his true gift, inventing.
He was always more mature than other kids his age.
Original ideas flowed from his mind as the years went on. The more minds there are working on a particular subject, the more improvement we can expect to see. It is the foundation of inventing. One needs to discover the pieces to a puzzle before it can be assembled into something new.
Funding For What?
To hire three re-writers to rewrite the first book of the seven book series into a masterpiece.
Joshua knows that if he can hire three professional writers at $25 per page, then there will be more creativity to produce better results. We take the new results and use them as a foundation to create even better results. The process continues until a masterpiece is produced.
Joshua isn't a great writer, but he is a gifted creator/inventor. He learned to write a series through reading other books, and by observation in successful authors what works and what doesn't.
Sometimes, a great story won't make it into the world if the right skill sets are missing. Joshua has created a story of fun and originality. However, he lacks the voice to make the story sing. Provide him three great singers to make the best story in its genre. In other words, give him the tools that he needs and he will bring into the world something great.
4 Writers: Collaboration
Here is how the collaboration process will work:
(Joshua highly suggest you to watch the video to better understand. Authur the Author.)
- Joshua gives the three re-writers his condensed 64,000 word manuscript. (A block to mold from.)
- Every week, the three re-writers meet up with Joshua to discuss each chapter. (Makes certain the block still at the center of his conception.)
- Once each re-writer completes their rewrite, every re-writer reads each other's new rewrite. (Since three new blocks are molded, now there are nine possibilities for newer blocks. Mixing takes place here.)
- Then all of the re-writers work together on one chapter at a time until a team rewrite is completed. (The new blocks formed are then mixed again to form a masterpiece.)
- Joshua will re-read team rewrite; the team will rewrite the rewritten book. (A masterpiece block is then formed into a polished masterpiece).
- A masterpiece is created.
The masterpiece will excite you to the point where your eyes won't believe what you're reading. The unending intrigue will leave you compelled to continue reading. Poetic rhyme, smooth sentence flow, flawless transitions, rich vocabulary, creativity, imagination, and direction will strike a spark that will ignite the series. This is a series to grow up with and to adventure with just as people did with Harry Potter. Will you join the ride? Shall we create a new fad that will excite people? An adventure designed to be made possible to undertake in real life, a new reality sport league? Finally, a move with Avatar quality animation to whoever acquires the film rights?

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The biggest problem that will be faced is the ability for every re-writer to know the story to its core as well as the author does. However, the author will hold their hands through the rewrite journey to keep the story on its track and prevent conflict with the events in the future books.
