Exactly how is "phase mode" being implemented?
There is now only one output jack, so it appears that one can no longer get quadrature outputs (or any two waves offset by a given angle).
Also, is the VCA block still there in the 'XY' signal path?
If so, what input signal is sacrificed (as per the E350 doc) since there are only 5 control jacks shown on the E370 panel mockup?

Seconding the request for user defined scales for the chord mode. The operation is fairly simple:
1. Load standard Scala *.scl format scale files from the microSD card, in a folder named "Scales."The file contains the ratios or frequencies for every scale degree, with any number of notes per scale.
2. Allow user to enter the "octave" (may not be 2/1 repeating such as for a Bohlen-Pierce scale, but the concept is still applicable) and scale degree (note) for each chord value.

I would love something like Stas' idea and it would also be nice if you could control the chord inversions somehow.
With the floating assignments and now chord goals unlocked, is the idea that MOD A and B will have global settings so that MOD A c on Osc1 can be set to global mode and change all 4 oscillators at once, thus freeing up additional mod inputs for chord settings? Or will the chord settings be done by remapping the 1v/Oct inputs as chord modulation?
I would love chords mode to support user-defined ratios (not just 12TET steps). This would be useful for xenharmonic compositon or for using it as a single-voice monster additive VCO. Here's how I see it working:
1. Each chord is defined as as 1-3 ratios (i.e. VCO3&VCO4 may be excluded from chords if their ratios are not set, so they are individually addressable as usual)
2. User can setup list of chords (i.e. up to 10 chords)
3. CV1 is used to select chord root
4. CV2 or coarse2 knob is used to select chord index in chords list
Ideally there would be chord import/export to SD card.
Another enhancement would be an option to morph chords, i.e. use CV2 value to interpolate between chord ratios.

The Chords mode brings a few things to mind. Would it be possible to allow the system VCO setting to include an additional 3+1 (triad, solo) configuration, while also allowing Chord mode to be a selectable option for triads (and pairs), so we can effectively have 3-note chords play while leaving the 4th VCO for solo/lead, and assignable to a different oscillator type?

Eric & I talked and we will be able to "tune in" voltages from about 0.95V/OCT to 1.25V/OCT. So, you are all set!
We will see how much work is needed to add 1.2V/Oct tracking as an option.

Yes, the only thing to remember is each VCO has 1 audio output (unlike the E340 that has 2).
But yes, 32 VCOs all going at the same time.
So, if I'm reading correctly, I could set each of the 4 VCOs to cloud, with up to 8 virtual VCO's per cloud?... So effectively it can function as 4 E340's ?!? Can we say 'drone-y, ambient, awesomeness"? I mean, I was already sold, and backed before bothering to read everything, but now I'm even more excited about this project… except that I'm going to need another eurorack case now.
