Typos, the Hard Copy, & More
It's been nearly two weeks since the Comrades PDF went out. If you haven't downloaded your copy yet, check your Kickstarter messages to find the link. If you don't see it there, message or email me and I'll send it immediately. I'm sending the files for the hard copy to the printer on Friday, so if you find a typo in the book this week, please submit it here.
While I wait to submit the hard copy files, I thought I'd fill you in on the other stuff I'm working on right now:
- Westside, my debut mystery novel, is being released on May 7. If you like the writing in Comrades, or the way the game gives you the opportunity to rip up a city and start anew, I think you will dig this book, which takes place in a twisted alternate version of Jazz Age New York. The book is already being well-reviewed, and it would mean a lot to me if you'd consider preordering it today.
- History-minded Comrades fans may also be interested in my newsletter, Strange Times: a weekly close-reading of the weirdest articles published in the 1921 New York Times. You can get half the issues for free or all of them for $40/year, but if you email me a screenshot of a Westside preorder, I'll give you a full subscription gratis.
- Lastly, if you dig Comrades or appreciate the way I ran this Kickstarter, follow my ongoing games work by backing my Patreon. $2/month will get you a free PDF of every game I make, plus previews of future projects like the forthcoming Deadball: Year III.
Thank you for your time, and I hope you're enjoying the game!
