Stretch goal #3 reached!

We reached stretch goal #3! Every Porthole is coming with a pair of custom aperitif glasses!

It's happening a bit faster than I ever imagined - I'm still working out design options with the factory. I will post renderings of the discussed options soon. Gotta get back to work.

Thank you!

I cannot wait to try so many different ideas with this bad boy!!!

    2. Creator Greg Schuler on August 22, 2012

Just ordered five. Would love more accompanying recipes out of the box!

    3. Creator Jeremy Krantz on August 21, 2012

Will there be a possibility of getting an extra set of those said aperitif glasses at an extra charge? I would love to do so because I usually have 4 people over, not just one other and it would be nice to have a matching set

    4. Creator Matthew Golden on August 21, 2012

I cannot wait! I've been telling everyone about this. As there is no doubt you'll hit a half million, any secret stretch goal #4 lurking around the corner?

    5. Creator Martin Kastner / Crucial Detail on August 21, 2012

@Ron Lussier Yes, two glasses per Porthole.

    6. Creator Bruce on August 20, 2012

Don't give Martin any more work than he already has before him, with a cookbook. I just want my portholes! Can I suggest, if you hit the $800,000 level you have a forum set up within your website, where we can share recipes and ideas. I'm confident you'll hit $1,000,000 though. You'll be needing to put lots of money and effort into production. Congratulations.

    7. Creator Luis Correa on August 20, 2012

It is so elegant! A true functional and classy design! It will be a unique present for great friends!

    8. Creator Ron Lussier on August 20, 2012

I just ordered two black portholes. Will they come with two glasses apiece? I'd love more recipes.

    9. Creator Michael Spirtos on August 20, 2012

So, This is my first time backing a project. After I authorized a payment, when do you inform them of the shipping address? Thanks so much! And this by far is the best project!!

    10. Creator Patrick on August 20, 2012

      +1 Charles on the recipes.

    11. Creator Nicholas Sylvain-Obsidian Tormentor on August 20, 2012

Yeah, more recipies would be very appropriate AND useful!

    12. Creator Sheryl Guillory on August 20, 2012

Congratulations Martin!! Would love to see Charles' idea for another stretch goal. A recipe books would be extremely helpful in getting started.

    13. Creator Ravi Thinakkal on August 20, 2012

That's great! I can use those instead of my red Solo cups.

    14. Creator Chuck Marshall on August 20, 2012

I can't wait to see the renderings. Our pledges just went from good value to amazing value! BTW, if there is a stretch goal # 4. I think a great choice would be a small recipe book for oils, drinks and teas. Maybe 4 or 5 of each to get the party started once the boxes are open at home!

      Thanks again Martin. Great work.

    15. Creator Anne on August 20, 2012

This is fantastic. I hope there is another stretch goal!

Question: Would it be possible to add another tier for 3 Portholes? Or could I just raise my donation to add in the money for another porthole and it would just be noted somewhere?

    16. Creator Maureen Walker on August 20, 2012

Hi Martin: I think I was the one to put you over $300K with my $375 pledge - yippee!

    17. Creator Ho Ching Ng on August 20, 2012

Not to be too greedy and getting ahead of ourselves, but possibly a stretch goal #4 of $500,000 and something to go along with it?

    18. Creator Charles Tremewen on August 20, 2012

Wish we could get kickstarter in Canada to support our venture in building our micro-distillery - Long Table Distillery. Very nice work Martin and glad to be supporting this kind of innovation.

    19. Creator Kal Roberge on August 20, 2012
