Ship Coins at 95%, Completed Pledges at 78%, Lost Pledges at 0.31%

Ships!

The new ship coin images are attached to this message. I'm still tweaking things, including consistency in the text, positioning/alignment of some elements, and (most importantly) breaking the symmetry of colors. I want these to NOT all look the same, and right now with the teal they do.

Monkeys!

Also? NEW MONKEY. We fixed the placement of Nie and moje on the back. It was pretty easy once I admitted to myself that the original design was wrong.

Stats!

I anticipated losing about 2.5% of our total dollar amount to abandoned pledges. That number is now down to 0.31%, which is ridiculously low. When Rich Burlew got his down to 0.32% he called it "astoundingly low." Ridiculous is better than astounding, I guess.

78% of your have checked out with Pledge Manager. Many of the rest of you are rubberneckers, in for a dollar, and it's possible you're just going to let that dollar go. You have about a week to make up your mind.

During that week we'll be getting the final designs locked, and then, briefly, opening the Pledge Manager as a pre-order system so that the general public can have a shot at some coins.

If you want to share the URL with friends -- https://schlockcoins.afterthecrowd.com/ -- you are welcome to do so.

I didn't notice it until I was looking at my coin but the Destroyed in Action date for the P.D.C.L. is February 30, 3097.

I guess I missed it in the comic but when did the calander change or is this a typo?

Doesn't look like there are many people hanging around here anymore, but for those that are, the latest, more colorful, "probably final" versions of the PDCL, Serial Peacemaker and Kitesfear coins are now up on schlockcoins.afterthecrowd.com. :-)

We made LOTS of little changes to the coins.
      1) Changed ring colors for more variety, and for better per-coin aesthetics. Teal now gets used exactly ONE time instead of eight, and each coin has different front and back colors. This will look very good on display.

      2) Standardized the date formats as dd/Month/yyyy (6 March, 3093)

      3) Standardized the placement of commas and colons.

      4) Flipped the swords

      5) Retconned "Reservists" for "Reserve" in the wiki, since it didn't actually appear in the comic. The wiki isn't canon until I say it is. :-)

Also, shouldn't the Serial Peacemaker be listed as "Destroyed in Action" since it went down while in direct combat with the Paan'uri?

On the TAG coin, the ending date is listed as "Dismantled"... if we're going by naval terms for these things, wouldn't "decommissioned" be the more correct term for the end of service?

On the Kitesfear coin, is "Reservists" what you mean? I think "Reserve" or "Reservist" might make more sense.
