Thanks for stopping by. I've been an actress most of my life, but for 14 years I made my real money working as a personal matchmaker for thousands of clients.
When mom passed in 2009, I moved back to Northern California help my dad. A year later I was involved in a serious car crash, suffering head trauma, when a drunk driver T-boned me at 75 MPH. During my recovery, I took editing and film-making classes & wrote the outline & character breakdowns for Dateless. Thankfully, three years later, I still have many connections in the entertainment industry who are excited and willing to help me with this project.
When we first played with the idea of producing this series, we had no idea how it would take on a life of its own. After filming a teaser reel, we decided this could be so much bigger and better with a little funding and a professional crew, so that’s where you come in.
With the funds raised, we will hire a professional team of videographers, lighting, audio, editing & production staff. We have several "name" comedy actors we're in talks with, but who we cast depends on the funds we raise. Celebs aren't cheap! But whoever we add, I'm sure you'll enjoy the exclusive behind-the-scenes footage that every $10+ backer will be given.
We want to do this right, and the permits, locations, equipment, talent, food, props and post-production, etc., all take quite a bit of funding. The writers are all talented, working comedians and we're blessed and honored to have them on board! They have been working tirelessly to make Dateless amazing!
This campaign is only step one in a much bigger vision of what we can accomplish when we all pull together. Eventually we would like to offer apprenticeships to aspiring film-makers and give "unknown" actors their chance to be seen.
Here's a sneak peek at the Stinky Man episode! In this clip, Sophie is recording Edwards dating video, but having a hard time breathing.

Come be a part of bringing this amazing new sit-com to life, laughing at something we've all had a bit of experience with, being DATELESS! Donate today! Thank you!!

Below is an extended look at some scenes we shot to give you a good feel for the project. It's a good insight as to why we need more funds for professional audio, lighting and editing, but it's also a good example of the writing, actors and flow. Enjoy!

Risks and challenges
Dateless is an ongoing project, and the level of professionalism we achieve is in direct correlation with the funds we raise.
Thankfully, we have very experienced people helping with the pre-production/planning phase. They know the potential obstacles, permit needs, etc. Should an issue arise, we have enough experience between all of us that we will have a solution.
Our plan is in phases:
Phase 1 is about getting deposits in place, renting space to shoot, deposits for name actors, the "paper pushing" and paying the writers.
Phase 2 will be the actual filming and post production phase.
Phase 3 is all about the marketing and PR to sell the project.
$9200 is our minimum financial need for the first 4 episodes, but to do it really well, we need much more, so we're hoping to far exceed our goal and achieve the level & quality we would like Dateless to have.
Thank you so much for your support!
