Kickstarter makes a HUGE profit by fostering scams. Why would they change? There is zero regulation, zero accountability, zero reason for them to care. Sad but true.

There is no sense in throwing new money after the lost old one. Such scams will only get fewer, when Kickstarter's provision depends on the success of a campaign. Unless KS has no incentive to improve its campaign checks, post-campaign actions will not help.

Robo I watched your video. You are an interesting guy, for sure. I wish you well but I don't feel you have any chance in continuing this campaign.

I suspect that if anyone is going to bring Tiko to justice, it's going to be some regulatory body in the USA or Canada. Tiko did sure make fools of many of us and Tony Morelli has become the visionary we wouldn't listen to.

      I wish you well.

to clarify: i do not want people to back this campaign that already know everything better without even having read or watch it's content. These kind of people will be of NO help.

Robo, anything with "Revenge" in the title is a pointer to a bad campaign.

Anyone that can't handle critics without attacking them has a problem. I haven't watched the video because the the first three words of this campaign say more than I want to hear.

Whether I do something or not, it doesn't make a revenge campaign any better. You want revenge on the basis of virtually no facts, just supposition.

I am no fan of Tiko, for sure.

@Paul A., i could wonder why you have the time to write a long comment but have neither the time to actually read that draft nor the time time to watch the video...
But we both know that you only decry this campaign draft because you yourself will never do anything.

"The Backers Revenge" is an astonishingly poor campaign name. A failing KS may not necessarily be anyone's fault, though I feel that the Tiko campaign was based on misinformation at all stages. Exactly what has been the problem can't be determined without financials - it could be total ineptitude and mismanagement and/or fraud. I think we're all wondering how much the organisation principals removed from the company along the way and whether there has been deliberate deception with the intent to remove funds. I don't know what the situation is.

Either way I WOULD NEVER SUPPORT ANY CAMPAIGN THAT IS BASED ON REVENGE. I'd like to find out what has been going on, but doing that as some form of revenge is something I would not want to be part of, nor would I want to be associated with any campaign or person motivated by revenge.

I cannot support a witch hunt against Kickstarter either because Tiko has gone south. I see KS involvement as an enabler of funding and we are all adults and make a choice about funding KS projects on the basis of the campaign. KS is a light-touch funding enabler and should stay that way.

The basic premise behind this campaign is vile.

They are still trading and supplying but not a single KS backer has received one and zero communication. 70k backers deceived...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- draft:

This is NOT the final campaign!
The violent campaign title is only temporary !

What you see now is only meant as the starting point to build something

together :-)

With the 16000+ backers of www.kickstarter.com/projects/tiko3d/tiko-the-unibody-3d-printer and the 1500+ of the horrible disaster www.kickstarter.com/projects/xmachines/genesis-surpassing-every-expectation-but-your-budg and the failed "Fleye" campaign as the positive example how a creator did not misuse our funds for building his company: www.droningon.co/2016/10/06/fleye-drone-crowdfunder-announces-failure-kickstarter

This is the perfect time to run a "backers revenge" campaign to bring our dishonest creators to justice after giving them a final deadline (the 30 days of this campaign) to

1. make everything open source / public domain
2. hand over what is left of our investment to a backers trust
3. when money was used to build their company, the company has to pay our investment (like all patents of www.kickstarter.com/projects/ezelleron/kraftwerk-highly-innovative-portable-power-plant becoming public domain)

Let's face it: If crowdfunding does not mature / evolve / grow up / it is doomed !!!

Let's face it: Kickstarter is the "Wild West" of crowdfunding. That is why we love Kickstarter but if we backers do not oppose ignorant creators, Kickstarter will simply shut down the hardware section :-(

My plan now is to quickly run our own Kickstarter campaign to file a class action against XMachines and Tiko3d if they do not accept the above rules.

Let's face it: We back projects, we love Kickstarter, because we want to see these awesome products become real. We take a big risk and we do not want to make profit. So why should the creators take no risk at all ??? We want to see these products becoming real. So obviously when a creator has failed to make it real, everything MUST become open source / public domain.

This should be the creators risk. And our own new campaign can go for this.

Now i say "our" and not "mine", because i do not like punishment at all. (Tyler Durden has no need for a loaded gun !!!). I detest determent. But as Kickstarter is the Wild West of crowdfunding, it indeed is OUR duty to bring dishonest creators to justice.

But i will only find the happiness to

1. register a nice .com domain
2. setup a website with world maps like my www.kickmiss.com
3. setup a campaign with a video where i explain the basics starting from this post.
4. post that campaign in all "find a lawyer"-portals to find a young motivated attorney to make himself a name by fighting for the rights of thousands of frustrated backers.
5. run the campaign.

when at least 15 backers join here to each record the final campaign video.

I don't need your money ! But i need your determination !

Let us face it: we HAVE to oppose the creators.

If not, crowdfunding (a cornerstone of the now unfolding "Information Society" to unite all peoples) is doomed :-(
