"Proto-Typical" is a non-collectible card game with two decks and a player count of 2-8 created by Jason Fox, Bob Kuhn and Grant Sarber at the Boston Cardboard Game Jam at MIT. Players take on the role of a futuristic business mogul who draws personnel and material resources from one deck to complete any of the wild variety of technological wonders from the deck of blueprints. While the game is fast-paced and easy to play, the undertone of geeky, sardonic humor will make each card stand out.
The goal of our project is to acquire funding to pay for the quality illustrations by Grant Sarber of MeatyOre Press, red tape, publishing and distribution for the game and associated paraphernalia. We've kept production costs low by doing our own play-testing and eliminating the need for anything other than the cards, instructions and packaging. Below are some links that include a free download of the Beta of "Proto-Typical."
