Trintec Industries Inc. is in a very unique position to make a claim that many watch manufactures would love to make... We are the original creators, designers and developers of the first Instrument Inspired Watch!
There is literally a plethora of Instrument Inspired Watches on the market today and suddenly it seems that every watch company is somehow now affiliated with Aviation. Watch companies like Bell & Ross, U Boat, Junkers and Wenger (just to name a few) either didn't exist or were not producing watches when Trintec introduced The Original Instrument Inspired Watch back in 1990. Our original watch designs pre-date the above companies attempts by at least 15 years.
This Kickstarter project is brought to you by Trintec Industries Inc., and is seeking funding to produce two 30th Anniversary Special Edition Instrument Inspired Watches. The 9060SE 30th Anniversary Automatic Altimeter Watch and The 9061SE 30th Anniversary Automatic Airspeed Watch.
Trintec Instrument Inspired Watches were first introduced to Pilots and Aviation Enthusiasts in 1990. The Original Instrument Inspired Watch first produced by Trintec was based on a Design Patent issued to Brendon Nunes, Founder of Trintec Industries, in 1987.
That US Design Patent (D288,412) was filed in July of 1984 and was issued on February 24, 1987. That patent featured a clock which was inspired by an Aircraft Instrument particularly an Aircraft Altimeter. That Design Patent would later become the inspiration for the FIRST EVER Aircraft Instrument Inspired Aviation Watch in 1990; The 9060 Altimeter Watch.
We would appreciate your help to bring the 30th Anniversary Instrument Inspired Altimeter & Airspeed Watches to reality and to allow us to go to production with these very unique watches. The quantities we need to commit to are large and we need your help to make this project come to life.

funding is successful we will be delivering all rewards that do not include watches in July after the end of our campaign. These clocks are manufactured in
Canada by Trintec right here at our facility. We will ship within two weeks
of the end of a successful Kickstarter campaign.
The production time for the watches will be approximately 90 days, so we will not receive the watches here in Canada until about the end of September. If things go smoothly with production and there is any chance of early delivery we will be pleased to update our backers and ship ahead of schedule. All watches will be inspected, tested and packaged here in Canada before delivery.
Risks and challenges
We will be using a company that has a proven track record with us but even so there can always be hiccups when it comes to production. We believe that there the risks are minimal with this project and the issues that may arise most likely will be production timing. We always insist on approving final samples before the production run goes into full swing to try to catch any deficiencies and solve any problems before delivery. If our campaign is successful we will keep all our backers up to date with the production schedule and if at all possible we will ship earlier than the projected dates.
Any rewards that do not include the delivery of watches will ship within two weeks of a successful campaign.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
