It's been a long couple of months finishing up all the post production for Crafting A Nation. I want to say a huge thank to you to the entire post production team. They have worked the late nights and countless hours to keep the film on schedule. Because our team, our backers, and myself, the film is the finally in the last stages of the audio and video mastering.
On Saturday, April 13th, we have been invited to screen our film in Jackson, MS at the Crossroads Film Festival. You can check out our press release for the screening, here. This will be the first public screening for the film, and I believe that tickets are still available if you are in the area. I do know they are going very quickly so make sure to get yours early. During our time in Jackson, I will speaking on a panel about documentary filmmaking and Lucky Town Brewing Party is organizing a party for the film. The Details This is a very exciting time for the craft beer scene in Mississippi, because they just became the 49th state to legalize home brewing. I can not wait to travel to Jackson this week not only to show the film, but to also share our stories from the making of the film and how craft beer brings can create so many positive influences on culture and community.
We have received so many requests about when the film will be released on DVD. Our goal has always been to partner with distributors that will help the film do a theatrical run, and then do DVDs and VOD in several markets. We are currently in talks with several distributors and we are working towards getting you an answer. We are so excited to be able to share what we have been doing for a year and a half with audiences all over. As a director, the story that we have captured in the finished film has far surpassed all of my goals for Crafting A Nation.
