Risks and challenges
The planning of this conference has been a challenge, albeit a rewarding one. The student co-coordinators at the Marymount School of New York have worked diligently with the following schools - the University School of Milwaukee; Mercy High School in Michigan; Westhampton Middle School on Long Island; the Dwight School in Manhattan; and the American School of Bombay - to develop a call for proposals and to seek keynote speakers. All of our presenters and keynotes are students in grades 6 through 12.
Our biggest challenge is executing the conference. Students will be presenting virtually from all across the globe. Coordinating all of those presentations, providing training for the presenters, offering moderators for each session truly requires a team effort on our end. This is a huge undertaking!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
