So we have the first version of the Android app out with a few of our backers. There are a few things to fix still before we open it to all the backers, but things so far, are looking good. We are looking forward to being able to open this up for all our backers soon. and then to anyone who would like to see Solu in action.
Our plan is to release to you, our backers, first, as you have believed in and supported us, and understand best what an alpha release means.
We continue to work on getting some clearer idea of when we will be able to announce a date for delivery of the main batch of Solu's. We understand it is frustrating, but the one thing we have learnt is that there are many things that can alter our plans that we cannot control. Once we have clarity and confirmation of when this will happen we will post an update.
We have just put out an update to the Solu OS running on Solu devices.
We are very please with this latest release. It reduces lag in entering Spaces, we have built a brand new collaborative ToDo app, and the Text Editor scales properly to the size of the screen.

I like updates to......but there are few.
The communication is awful, could you please let us know what you are doing, and why it takes so long?

A backer, and not a beggar!

As a backer, I'd like to see an update every month on the status of the hardware, software and plans for the coming months. How much cash do you have available versus the amount of pending work to get the devices out to people?

Not sure how the Android app is funded but is certainly not the project I backed.

I dont think it can be stated enough how disappointing it is that nearly a year after we were suppose to get our new better than apple or ms computers of the future we're getting hyped an android app ... incredible the incredulity i'm feeling ... i almost don't even want the thing anymore
